A poem...
by magyk4

A poem from me,
A poem to thee,
A poem for all whether on land or sea.

A poem for you,
A poem that's true,
A poem for everyone to read old or new.

A poem for he,
A poem for she,
A poem for all that ever could be.

A poem for us,
A poem is thus,
A poem for thoughts before you discuss.

A poem for them,
A poem.. ahem!
A poem for those that shine as bright as a gem.

A poem for all,
A poem not small,
A poem for inclusion whether tiny or tall.

A poem for one?
A poem for none?
A poem in fact for each and everyone.

A poem can be a beacon for all to enjoy,
They have meaning to all whether girl or a boy,
Using words as our tools that we carefully employ,
To give those who read thoughts to build...
Not destroy.

A poem can tell us stories, tales or a deed,
Bring us all together no matter colour or creed,
For some can be simple yet some plant a seed,
An idea to ponder the world around us indeed,
As some still are trapped and need to be freed,
Some of those among us are blinded by greed,
Not all have the chance to see this and read,
But this isn't a poem with warnings to heed,
It's one to ask for kindness for all oh I plead.

The Kadoatery
by therainbowsheep

On your mark, get set, go!
To feed a Kadoatie, one cannot be slow.
While their owners are on holiday,
Kadoaties enjoy the chance to play.

But before long they feel lonely and blue,
Perhaps they just need a snack or two!
So race to the shop wizard or your SDB,
To participate in the mad dash feeding spree.

If victorious, the Petpet will smile
And your effort will be all worth the while.
Your name will even be displayed for a short time,
Until the next batch's mews form a chime.

And endless cycle of mains and pends,
In the end, a lot you may spend.
But it's always worth feeding these cute petpets,
On that, one can surely bet!

The Talpidat: Neovia's Cute New Addition
by _brainchild_

I found all Neggs, and it turns out
That causing lots of grief, no doubt,
Was a new Petpet species, called
The Talpidat. Through crypt it crawled!

The little guy is oh so cute,
And loves to eat Neggs as his loot.
Its teeth are great at draining them,
From fruity base to juicy stem!

It comes in three fine hues. A Spring-
Themed Talpidat will surely bring
Much happiness, and Eventide
Is very dreamy, finely dyed.

The navy blue, original,
Is very stealthy, never dull.
It blends with shadows in the night---
The creature leaps, escaping sight.

So, if your Neopet would like
A friend, their happiness will spike
Upon meeting a Talpidat.
It's sweet and friendly, like a cat.

The Beekadoodles' Race
by jaudaran

A Beekadoodle zooms at legendary speed,
Another close behind him, trying to take lead,
They swoop and they dive,
Together they strive,
But only one will first reach the flowers to feed.

The garden is laden with bright blooms to enjoy,
And neither tiny bird is going to play coy,
The nectar, it calls,
One wins and one falls,
To gain victory all of their speed they employ.

One might think the garden is large enough to share,
If that’s so, the Beekadoodles don’t seem aware,
They chase and they sing,
Each wants to be king,
Of this lush territory with flowers so rare.

But while our combatants do manoeuvre and race,
A third bird flutters in, disregarding the chase,
He eats up his fill,
A smile on his bill,
And unnoticed flies off again, leaving no trace.

Join Us
by dudeiloled

Be it not said that we let it happen,
That we stood and watched and did nothing,
That our saviour, our beacon of hope was destroyed without a single supporter
That we did not wish it could not be so
That -- in the depths of night, we gather
Whisper
Chatter
Collect ourselves and begin again in groups
Where those winged beasts cannot find us, or at least do not dare to look
Between the areas where civilised Neopets roam
Civilised! I hear you cry
WE are the civilised
The intellectual, the savvy
The ones who carry the truth of her words on our breath
And make sure others hear that word too
She has not been forgotten, oh no
And they have not been forgiven
She was right
And the time will come when we shall rise again
To create a better Neopia, a better world for us ordinary Neopets
That will wrench the power those creatures hold
Taunting us, laughing at us, high and mighty in their protected homes
Fountains, lush forests, healing and wealth
And what of us? Scrounging for scraps and stealing what we can
No, we understand you.
Join us -- join us!
For her cause.
For Xandra.
And we shall defeat them, once and for all.

Legend of the Grey Faerie
by honorrolle

Swirling puddles accept new raindrops gently into their abyss
Rolling fog meanders over, seems to forever hide the sun
Ashy, billowing cloud seem to hover in an endless bleak world
And on the streets of Faerieland, a lone, grey doll lays askew on the pavement.

As the rain rushes faster now, slamming into the brick,
The doll seems to come to life, the seams stretching to transform
Flesh emerges, and slate hair grows, small wings sprout but do not fully form
The Grey Faerie has emerged in all her sorrowful glory

Elegant and hesitant, the faerie forlornly examines her hands, devoid of magic,
Her wings loosely drooping as the wind sprays raindrops all around the almost empty streets
Her elegant, bare feet carry her slowly down the gloomy street,
On the gloomiest day of the year

Stripped of her powers, the anguish weighed in her very posture,
Dress in tatters, hair a soggy, tangled mess, she wallowed in self-pity,
Out of the corner of her eye, an electric FLASH!
Tavi the Kyrii offered his hand respectfully with confident grace.

“I’ve helped Baelia grow her wings and find her magic, I’ll help you too.”
Swirling kindness warmed the faerie more than a blanket on a dreary day,
“Oh Hullo… I guess that would be fine,” the Grey Faerie stuttered.
Tavi grabbed her hand and whisked her under his umbrella.

Grand adventuring lay ahead on that fateful day worthy of an epic novel
But shall we ever know how Tavi helped the Grey Faerie’s regain their magic?
Tis’ too dangerous for common knowledge with sinister folk a prowl’
Better yet, let mystery abound, we may never know….

The Lost
by iamedzhie

Whenever I see pets in the pound
All I could think are the days lost
Alone and with their weirded names
Of random letters and numbers thrown

And then I thought what about the poems lost
Lost in numbers of poems post
How do I searched of a poem that touch me
There isn't even one clue to thee

Then there's the missed events
I wish I could have took
The memories I have lost
Not realizing there is a diary log

There are just data lost in space
How do I uncover and find their trace
As I clicked away on Auctions
Some items losing their flame

Lost in this saddened phase
How do I close this melancholic poem
Finding a home for all the abandoned
To found on this crowded space.

The Wonders of a Brush
by adelinetng

Some call it superficial, some call it vain,
but many out there think it's worth the pain.
It matters not, how a paintbrush one gains,
random events, for example, one may obtain.

From colours of the rainbow, to whole different themes!
It's like the wonders of many visual dreams!
The price it cost, as a new player you'll scream...
but it's true! The love for brushes are that extreme!

So what's your favourite paintbrush of all?
Baby, Candy, perhaps Dimensional?
Searching through marketplaces and many's stall,
I have to admit, my wallet feels small.

Alas, it's okay, for there's tons still to do,
in Neopets where it matters not if you're veteran or new.
To explore the world, and colours to view,
may the Wonders of a Brush be ever magical to you.

Tale of the Ghost Lupe
by dawn_fairy

Shrouded in mystery,
Not much is known of his history.
Most see him as a sort of ghoul,
But is he a force of evil or a force of good?
The Ghost Lupe may just be a sad soul,
Wandering, lost, and misunderstood.

Randomly he may drop prizes.
Except for Chias, whom he despises.
But of this you should beware,
Do not take advantage of his wealth.
Or you may be met with his vengeful stare,
As all your Neopets lose their health.

Some say he lost his love,
Howling his cries to the moon above.
Or is it his own soul that he sold?
Did he come from beyond through a portal?
Nothing is known yet many stories are told,
Of this spectre, no longer mortal.

Por el cielo y el mar
by profebest

Entre el cielo y el mar,
Blumaroo dice-a-roo,
Me quiere perder mi suerte ya,
Jugando hasta llegar al otro nivel,

Primero Rojo como el Sol,
Despues Azul como el Space Faerie,
Verde como el pelo del Money Tree,
Amarillo como la Luz

Gris como una nube Negra,
Si pierdes o ganas,
Siempre estara el Pant Devil,
Pero el destino te lleva al Jackpot,
Happy Dice a Roo random poem.
