The twilight shadow of Neopia,
seemed to go on forever,
but the blustery days never ended, never,
I couldn't find an excuse!
I walked down the dark passageway,
at the end of a long winter's day,
I thought what i saw,
was the twilight shadow.
Even though the blustery cold,
was even more bold,
it walked and walked,
but it never talked,
the twilight shadow.
He cast a rope around my neck,
oh, what a wreck,
even though my mighty strength,
lay across the length,
the twilight shadow had won again!
I daren't move,
i daren't speak,
I'd just walk down this dark street,
no one moves,
The twilight shadow has come.
Then a bang,
then a bash,
then an almighty crash,
the stumbling fought,
never thought, this would happen today!!
To be honest with you,
the twilight shadow had won,
he walloped,
he cursed,
he'd done everything, except:
face The King of Neopia.
The twilight shadow cowered out of sight,
I think you and I were right,
he was a coward all along,
a wimp.
The king looked down,
tears swelled in his eyes,
he felt sorry for the coward,
who said he never lied!
So the king and the coward,
walked down the dusty street,
neopets, and neopals swore they saw:
the twilight shadow!

As the twilight sadly fades away
My hope goes reluctantly along
And sounding through this festive valley
There rings a song...
I wonder how the people can laugh
And feel no pain at all
When they all saw her eyes cloud over
They all saw her chest fall
Yet it appears these hearts of ice
Are all quite oblivious to
The screaming cries of her pets
Their eyes are clouded over too
But not with death, with something else
With a mist of foggy tears
And none of the people seemed to see
Their hearts, filled with fears.

An angel she was,
