The Trials of Dark Faerie Jhudora
By Vicart1

She stares at you with stone cold gaze
that turns your blood to ice;
She'll give you the power and items you crave,
but her services come at a price.

Deception written 'cross her hardened face,
and her voice which drips syrupy sweet,
like honey laced with poison,
causes your heart to skip a beat.

Her promises of riches,
you discover all too soon,
can shower you with wealth divine
or pave your path to ruin.

So if you decide to accept her quest
I'm warning you: beware!
And should you choose to take the risk,
proceed with utmost care.

The History of Maraqua
By Waifine_1

A place so far beneath the seas
Which need no barricades or walls,
Not doors, nor locks, nor hinges old,
To keep intruders from its halls.

The ocean deep its keeper was,
And kept it safe and hidden.
Who on this world could touch it now?
A place so much forbidden.

And yet by pirates was it found
And turned to one great rubble.
And there for years beneath the ground
It gave off
BUBBLE... BUBBLE... BUBBLE...

And yet once more it stands again,
A land that lives among the waves.
But were these buildings built in vain,
And pirates once again have slaves?

Siege of the Marshmallows
By Blubblub317

They may look angelic and sweet,
All puffy and heavenly white.
Their sugary cover makes me
Want to eat, and plus with a very big bite.

But underneath a very smooth layer
Is something no one would expect.
An evil which lingers, its eyes are surveyors,
Its mission to wreck and affect.

What is this plan I speak so deep of?
Is it really as bad as it sounds?
Yes, I admit, and it starts from above,
Where the stars are all that surrounds.

He waits very calmly, his eyes with a gaze,
Of hatred, pleasure, and ultimate greed.
He's what the teens state as the newest craze,
His chicken hair growing with rapid speed.

He knows it'll be perfect,
Everything that he's planned,
The siege of the marshmallows,
So perfectly brilliant.

Dipped them in chemicals,
Causing them to expand,
With each waking second,
Best you all be resilient.

And at the brightest glow
Of a moon winter's night,
The marshmallows will finally appear.
Falling from the sky, they are ready to fight,
Over Neopia Central,
They'll cast a shadow of fear.

It'll be much, much too late
The pets will be weak,
He'll have the power
To make them all slow as a moth
And with this all completed,
He's now brand new and sleek,
Thus marks the return of Dr. Frank Sloth.

Maraquan War
By Lolravioli

The sea -- a sapphire, brilliant blue,
A sparkling, enchanting, mysterious hue,
But beneath the surface, in the dark,
Tiny ripples begin to stir.

Within these waters there lives a tribe,
The fluid Maraquans, far, far below.
Turquoise and navy, slender and swift,
Good-willed and civil, pure as the snow.

Ships a' sailin' across the sea,
Cutting the waves tenaciously,
Eye patches, cannons, evil intent,
Hark! Listen as they come near!

Beneath the sun, amongst the waves
A cross of hearts, a cross of blades
Testing their strength, their faith, their will,
One strike for another, the warrior trades.

A pricy game, exhilirating, mad,
Stakes higher than they ever had,
Blades glistening in the sweltering sun,
Enough to match the glistening of the sea.

Sweat mixing with tears,
Tears mixing with water,
Glimmering under that same sun,
Inseparable, as one.

Still they go on, night and day again,
Right against Right,
Wrong against Wrong.

Fostering a Chia
By Schefflera

Unwanted I sat in the pound
With weary eye and downcast frown
Or downcast eye and weary joints...
Oh, never mind. That's not the point.

With stupid name I am adorned.
To me it came when I was born.
I'm level one. My stats aren't high.
A species rare? Oh no, not I.

And then one morn, an owner came.
"I'm looking for a pet," she claimed.
"A level one with lousy name,
And nothing rare, and rather tame."

I crept up close and said, "That's I.
But even so, I'm asking -- why?"
"I'm fostering," the owner said.
I asked, "That means...?"
"A comfy bed

And meals you get, though not too prime;
I've asked my pets, and they don't mind
Some omelettes and other kinds.
Though not gour-'met,' they taste just fine."

I made a face at her bad joke.
She took it as a friendly poke.
"There's one more thing I have to say,"
She told me, "We have the Lab Ray."

My eyes were wide, and I was scared.
"No, please don't hide. It's not so bad.
It will not hurt, or not for long,
And the result can make you strong.

We'll go each day and zap you 'till
With you to play will be a thrill
For anyone, then bring you back
And this time you'll go like a snap."

"That's fostering," I said with thought.
Then I agreed, and I was bought.
To see a Lupe a shock I had,
But she was good, and then -- the Lab!

Weaker! Stronger! Level up!
Faster! Faster! Speed me up!
A gender switch, and one last time --
Well, look at this: I've turned to Lime!

So then we ate and drank my health
And took me back to my old shelf
To give a kind new owner glee
And one more pet a chance like me.
