O Usuki, O doll divine
With golden fluffy ears,
Say what thou want, and it is thine!
From plates to pinking shears.

From all the garments, clothes and hats,
To games and ice-cream stands,
From candy-color silken spats,
To styles from distant lands.

You need an igloo? I'll buy one!
And a brand-new tennis-court?
I'd get it from Usukicon,
But I'm ten Neopoints short.

You can do 'most anything,
And move your paws like thus,
You can dance and you can sing
To applause tumultuous.

Usuki, it's plain to see,
You're utterly fantastic;
If only you would speak to me,
But nay -- for thou art plastic!

Beauty and Grace

Dust woven in her hair
Like glitter, but dull and gray,
Her face so smooth and cold,
Her drawn expression gracefully blank.
She had once been treasured
Like the rare doll she was known to be,
But she lay old and forgotten,
No longer dressed up to go to tea.
And though she loved
And cherished the memories
And wished it would go on for all eternity,
She was used to this change of attention
And embraced it,
For she was able to see
This young Neopet grow up
Into the beautiful creature she was,
And make friends, and play, and be happy.
So the Usuki doll smiled,
The beautiful smile
She had used many times before,
But different;
Wiser, sadder, happier,
Graceful.

Take Your Pick

I arrived at the Usukicon,
And was met by flashes of light,
Sparkling images, metallic signs,
Squeaky screams and yells of delight.

Giggling girls all around me,
Dragging exhausted mothers along,
In my ears drummed the familiar tune,
That trademark Usukicon song.

Remind me why I'm here again?
I silently questioned myself.
It's to buy my favourite niece a present
From the bright Usuki Doll shelf.

Should I choose the Maraquan Usuki?
Or did she already own that one?
Among the blinding cheerfulness
Is not where I feel I belong.

Would she like the Hula Girl Usuki?
Or was the island theme not her thing?
With so many styles to choose from,
I hadn't a clue where I should begin.

In the end I settled for that old classic,
The doll with the magical hair.
I thought: Usukicon is really tiring,
What a colourfu, glittering affair!

Champion or pop star?
Usuki can be what she wants,
and still raising the bar.
