A Game of Deadly Dice
By Servonni

At midnight we crept
Down into his crypt
So slowly it opened
And out he slipped

Count von Roo entered the light
Holding two pairs of dice
Dark eyes sparkling with delight
"Care to lose again, like you did last night?"

With a sniff and a glare
I took the dice in my palm,
Glanced at my pet
Who watched with complete calm

I shook once, twice, three times
Then I let go
And let the dice fall

To the dark dirt below
"Curses!" he shrieked
"That wasn't suppose to be!
I always win, it's my game!
You can not defeat me!"

I couldn't help but make fun,
And I said with glee
"Well, it looks I won,
You rolled a two, and I a three."

So furious he was!
But pet's level was raised
Then he shouted at me,
His charcoal eyes ablaze

"You wont be lucky next time!" he yelled.
And with a swirl of his cape
He turned away in shame
And we made our escape

The Petpet Puddle
By Mars27gbd

A small Doglefox went out one day,
At the Rainbow Pool, he wanted to play.
He trotted with pride, a long, long way,
"I want to be painted!" he started to say.

But the big Neopets laughed in his face,
"You are too small, this is not the place!"
With a tear in his eye, he left the large space,
Everyone giggled, he felt like a disgrace.

But a Babaa scampered by, in a quick scuttle.
He then saw some more Petpets, all in a huddle.
"What are they doing?" he began to befuddle.
He then saw a sign that said "Petpet Puddle!"

Out came a snow Buzzer,
And a Slorg that was blue.
All these different colors? How can that be true?
More Petpets emerged, each a different hue.
With all the excitement,
The Doglefox ran over there, too.

The puddle was small, but such a delight!
He'd received a Petpet paintbrush,
The tip was white.
So he got painted,
And smiled with all his might,
Even though he was still small,
That was quite alright.

The Story of Doctor Sloth
By Smudgeoffudge

There once was a student
who was studying mutants
on a far away planet
that we've not yet seen.
The others snubbed him
and no one could love him
because he dressed strangely
and his skin was green.

So he sat on the bleachers
and ate with the teachers
and never was part of the socialite scene.
But he became brilliant and much more resilient
to taunting by those with a brain like a bean.

He thought, "Skin that is peeling
is much more appealing
than skin that is glossy any old day.
And I really don't care about clothing or hair,
I just let mine go wild and astray."

Yes it would delight me if others were like me
and I had an army to do as I say.
I think that the vote is, no one will notice,
if I steal a spaceship and go far away.

I'll take some Grundos,
'cause no one will miss those,
and I'll turn them to mutants to do as I bid.
I'll find a small planet that's harder than granite
and I'll make up an army while there I am hid.

Then this young Doctor jumped in a space hopper
and flew to a planet that was barren and gray.
There he had power and made others cower, as
he scowled and he cringed
while he plotted revenge.

But then something happened
to that nasty old foe.
Some say it was the work of the fae.
How it happened we really don't know,
all we know is that the sun shone that day.

Then the air cleared and the grass came alive.
Sloth hissed as he looked at the surface outside,
for the grass began growing
and then with a "pop"
creatures appeared all around with a hop.

Sloth was confused but then he did grin.
Now he would have so many new "friends".

Petpet Limericks
By Too_kule

Hate Petpets that bang up the wall?
Or keep you awake with their call?
Just get a grey Rock,
They don't even talk!
They don't really do much at all.

Jinjahs are easily best,
They overshadow all the rest!
While playing they're fun,
And when you're both done,
You can take a bite from its chest.

Meepits are evil to the core,
They don't need an almighty roar.
With two staring eyes,
They'll make grown pets cry,
Be thankful that they don't have more!

Krawks are truly quite grand,
They come from Tyrannian land.
They are really neat,
But fungus they can't eat,
You'll have a grown pet on your hands.

So what's the right Petpet for you?
Certainly a white Weewoo!
They're great for your pet,
They beat the Flosset!
They're the best of 'em all; oh it's true.

The Lonely Aisha!
By __horsemaniac__

Dressed in ragged clothes,
Staying in a mountain cave.
Lived a lonely Aisha,
Her own future path, she had to pave.

She was alone and unfed,
But no one cared.
She faced many hardships,
But her life was spared.

Then one awful, fateful day,
She grew sick and was a sad sight.
As she new she was going to die
And soon her soul would take flight.

She searched for someone,
To help her through,
But no one was there,
She knew she was through.

A fragile breeze blew through,
Her knees collapsed and there she fell.
Onto the hard packed earth,
There was a dark haze
What was it? She could not tell.

Just as she took her last few breaths,
She was lifted off the ground up into the air.
As she opened her eyes again,
She saw a human, the pain was hard to bear.

That human nursed her back to health,
With tender, loving care.
I am that Aisha, that's why
You are hearing this tale,
Because this was my life story
I just had to share.
