The Rich Slorg
by Greyxdream

If I was a rich Slorg
I would give all of my Neopoints away
To those who come to see me
Just once everyday

If I was a rich Slorg
I’d find a place to be,
A small little hideout,
A place Neopets rarely see

If I was a rich Slorg
I could wait and wait and wait,
Until a perceptive Neopet
Came knocking at my gate

If I was a rich Slorg
I’d reward that young one well,
And hope he would come back now
To the place I dwell

Since I am a rich Slorg
I will give a prize each day,
No more than he needs
Just enough for a day

The Neopian Lottery
by Nedviolet

If you are low on funds
And would like to strike it rich,
Then listen to me,
You won't regret this.
For a very long time,
Many have come out with glee,
To try their own luck with
The Neopian Lottery.

The process to this
Is very simple.
First, travel the distance
To Neopia Central.
Next, go to the lottery
And buy twenty tickets.
It might take some time
To think of those digits.

After buying your tickets,
You can now flee,
And do something else
Until 6:00 am NST.
If you're lucky enough,
You may win the jackpot.
Though most leave with nothing,
That's no reason to stop!

Naia, The Fountain Faerie
by Decretum

In a corner of Neopia,
There is a certain fountain,
Where magic rarely flows
In seven different colors

In its water lives a faerie,
A sweet mermaid who grant wishes,
With her slender blue tail
And her beautiful golden hair

Lucky you are if she stops you for a quest,
She'll let you bath in the rainbow waters
And then you'll change yourself
To everything you ever wanted to be

The sweet mermaid who grants wishes
Lives in her Rainbow Fountain,
Singing and dancing and smiling,
Naia is her name.

History Mystery
by Aldurswolf

There's an adventure going on
Inside the NC Mall,
Some new caps are showing up
Right out of Neopia's past.
Zylphia's out exploring
And bringing them all back,
She'd like to catalog the items
So that will be our task.
Each cap has to do
With a specific Neopian event,
Discovering Tyrannia, Sloth's invasion,
Even Faerieland's decent.
Though all history's important
It seems some is better than the rest,
For in these caps we won't see
Altador's plot or Roxton's quest.
But since she went through all the trouble,
In a chronomobile no less,
We'll help catalog all these items
And do our very best.
There's no ulterior motive,
But I'll let you in on a secret, friend,
If we do a good job
There's a special prize at the end!

A Baby Chia's Rant
by Heartsnothaters

I remember days ago
when I actually looked my age,
A 900 day old Chia
Old and wise with little rage

But my owner's slightly evil
and obsessed with the adorable,
A single Baby Paint Brush
is what she wanted most of all

She got one at the Trading Post
at a fairly decent price,
She looked at each of her Neopets,
I froze as if on ice

With a mischievous grin she grabbed me,
To the Rainbow Pool we went,
Paint brush in one hand, me in the other,
She never heard me vent

Next thing I knew I was shrinking,
I stopped shouting and started crying,
I wished I were an Eyrie
So that I would leave, flying

So now here I am
An almost thousand day old baby,
I would rather tell you more
But this darn diaper feels heavy
