Cheapskate Neopet

I am the biggest cheapskate
of all the 'pets I know,
they can roll their eyes but I don't care
because I have more dough.
Rule number one to save NP
is dailies, every day.
You get free food and items,
such as cool toys to play.
The Second-Hand Shoppe's like the tree,
but there, you can get clothes.
Hope you don't mind the smell of dung,
Because that place has loads!

Another thing to keep in mind's
to own a little shop,
it's cheap, though you won't have 
many items there to stock.
The Money Tree is my best friend,
I go there frequently,
to grab hand-me-downs some probably leave
for cheapskates just like me!

Sell your free food and omelettes,
and spend a single night
at the Neolodge's Cockroach Towers
(don't fret, you'll be alright).
Some say I'm cheap, I think I'm just
a practical, wise 'pet.
Maybe I am quite odd,
but at least I don't have any debt!

The Friendly Lizark

The friendly Lizark lives in Geraptiku.
He's friendly and he wants to cuddle with you.
He's sweet, nice, loving, and caring,
Empathetic, and he's always sharing.

The friendly Lizark's oh-so-sad,
Why? Listen to this, my lad.
No one wants to go near him --
he's scary, frightful, and very slim.

The friendly Lizark wants a friend
So badly, sometimes he pretends
His best friends are the plants that grow
In the whole big Geraptiku show.

A friendly Lenny comes to Geraptiku
To seek adventure. While he's on the route,
He sees the Lizark curled up.
"I'll never have friends! I give up."

The Lenny picks him up, with no harms,
And cradles the Lizark in his arms.
"I love Lizarks. I'll be your pal,"
The Lenny states as he hugs him and all.

The friendly Lizark has an owner.
He is no longer a lonely loner!
He's curled up in a house at last,
As he thought about his lonely past....

The Poetry Contest Life

Up all night for an idea,
Need to find one more rhyme,
Using anything possible,
No matter the day or time.

Will not quit until one's posted,
Using up hours on end,
Ending up writing the day away,
Making up time you need to mend.

Taking forever on one word,
Just so desperate to think,
Writer's block sets inside
Just as hope begins to sink...

An idea pops into mind,
The ideas flow like a brook,
Just as you begin to finish
You think you should write a poetry book.

Send it in is what you do,
Just can't wait for a reply,
Excitement goes right through you,
Because you really did try.

A Neomail comes one day,
You open with a happy grin,
Then you read the words on the page,

The Woes Of Landlebrot’s Quests

“I have a job for you!”
“Oh goodness...” sighed the Xweetok,
“Yes, I know what I ‘must’ do.”

“Ah, goodie! Yes, an expert!
So glad that you’re around!
I’m going to ask you for some items
That, with the Wiz, cannot be found!”

“You like this, Doctor, don’t you?”
Said the Xweetok with a frown.
“Well, I admit that I find pleasure
Seeing the economy go down...

Now please go find my items,
They really are required.
And how hard is it to find them?
I mean, it’s not like they’re retired!”

“Yeah, you’d think it would be easy,”
Frowned the Xweetok yet again.
“But there’s such a large demand for them
That the prices are insane!

And, in honesty, let’s face it;
Your prize is mostly none.
So, I’m sorry Dr. Landlebrot,
But your quests cannot be done.”

So, now the doctor’s feeling gloomy
‘Cuz there’s no way to get his stuff.
And poor Penniless the Xweetok
Just has pockets full of fluff.

And so, ‘tis seen that good and bad
Are found within each quest;
But as I’m feeling gloomy now,
It must be gloomy like the rest.
