The Misunderstood Slorg

They say that I am spooky but they've got it all wrong!
I know that with the cuter petpets is where I belong;
my big round eyes are full of happy admiration
for an owner that would love me - oh what a sensation!

I'm small and I am slimy but please don't be afraid,
For just to have an owner I've waited a decade.
I may be green and goopy and a little bit smelly,
but pick me up! Give me a hug! I'm only made of jelly!

My slimy spots and yellow dots might at first be creepy,
but be my friend! I do contend that I am quite the sweetie.
looks can be deceiving and in fact i'm no exception 
the notion that I'm spooky is a giant misconception.

Friends can come in many shapes and sizes, big or small-
but in me, you'll come to see the greatest friend of all!

Mutant Slorg

Good gracious, this poor Mutant Slorg
Is wrinkled, ghastly, weird.
It drips with foulest, greenest slime,
A creature to be feared.

Its eyes are crazy, bloodshot orbs.
They're skewed and dangling, too.
Its mouth is open in a scream.
It's something to eschew.

What evil led the artists to
Create this horrid thing?
Its looks could make a person cringe!
Its howls are blistering!

And yet, I find it charming too.
I love its unique look.
This Slorg is Mutant through and through.
It cannot be mistook!

So celebrate the Mutant Slorg!
It's Slorg Day, here at last!
The Mutant Slorg is odd and strange
And cannot be surpassed!

Slimy Slorgs!

There are Slorgs all through my garden,
Eating flowers left and right.
They are sneaky little critters,
Who wreak havoc through the night.

There are Slorgs all through my garden,
Who leave behind a slimy trail.
They love to chew on veggies,
And leave messes without fail.

There are Slorgs all through my garden,
In hues of red and pink and blue.
Whatever colour they may be,
They're a nuisance, through and through!

There are Slorgs all through my garden,
On the leaves they always munch.
If you listen extra closely,
You can hear their tell-tale CRUNCH!

Slorgs in Space

Form a line guys, we're going to space
The biggest threat Kreludor will ever face
We've got to get to their food supply
Hurry up guys, keep up the pace!

Oh no, what's that?! Who is that guy!
Is that Slorg-B-Gone? Why!!
We've faced this before, just keep up, run!
That food will be ours, we just have to try!

This Grundo has nothing on us, we outnumber him by a ton
Slorgs are quick and plentiful, best by none!
He's too slow for us, the food is ours!
Good work team, we've already won!

Slorg Slime

While Slorgs are great petpets
(Just look at those grins)
there's something new owners
should be aware of before they jump in.

While Slorgs are friendly fellows
and will eat most any crop
they leave a lot of slime behind
and can never seem to stop.

It trails when they wiggle
and squirm on the ground
and leaves an oozing trail
whenever they're around.

Slorg slime is slippery
and slick to boot
but it helps keep them moving
as they wobble and scoot.

But before you just clean up
their most defining trait
Slorg slime has many uses
like paint for a portrait.

It's also a good wax
to give tile a shine
and can be used as a thief deterrent
to take a bite out of crime.

So try a Slorg out
if you can handle the goo
and your Pet will thank you
and their new Slorg will too.
