AISHA DAY SPECIAL

A Happy Aisha Day
by dr_tomoe

A new year has come
and it's first holiday is here
and it's only fitting it's for
a pet known for it's ears

Aisha Day is upon us
and today we celebrate
all the things that make the Aisha
so well known and great

Their collars are worn
with a distinct A charm
and their great hearing
can keep them from harm

The Aisha's are all over
and have been here for ages
as famous Aisha's can fill
up many of history's pages

An Aisha rules Sakhmet
and Jerdana is the Protector
and many more are Alien's
that come from beyond the stars

Then, to further cement
their celebratory commotion
Aisha's were the first species
to get a morphing potion

So come celebrate these species
on their special holiday
Don't worry about being late
it will last all day.

Aisha Pride!
by alyndasgallery

The Aisha is my favourite pet,
For oh so many reasons.
It's been around for a long time,
Through many changing seasons.

Is it their happy faces,
Or their ears that stand so tall.
That make them rise above the rest,
Their personalities never small.

These Aisha Neopets are smart,
Their intelligence second to none.
Solving puzzles and riddles,
Is their favourite kind of fun.

The Aisha comes in many forms,
They can wear both clothes and shoes,
Shades of Plushie, Rainbow or Alien,
So many colours you can choose.

Let's celebrate this special day,
For this creature we all adore.
Show your Aisha love with pride,
And maybe adopt another, just one more!

'A' is for Aisha
by icysnowe

‘A' is for Aisha,
As frisky as a feather.
Feline features so alluring,
Sweet purring and a-meowing.

Little known fact,
Their four ears make a pact.
Two extra ears like satellites,
Make raindrops sound like dynamite.

Playful by nature,
These creatures crave adventure.
Inspired by famous Aisha persona,
Like Lisha and Jerdana.

Elegant yet quirky,
Aisha never fail to amaze me.
So on this wondrous Aisha Day,
Let us appreciate their awesome ways!

Aisha Rain Slicker
by indulgences

This slicker is so marvelous!
It's glossy, smooth and bright.
I love its blue transparency.
It's such a gorgeous sight!

A sweet medallion made of gold
Is draped around the neck.
It shines throughout the darkest storm.
It sparkles when it's wet!

I love this slicker, even though
I have no Aisha pet.
I'm thinking of adopting one.
I'll buy the slicker set!

I'll buy the rain boots, rain hat too,
Which will complete its look.
I'll treasure my dressed Aisha pet,
With love that can't be shook!

Cork Gun Gallery
by kelly_d60

The beautiful Aisha hosts,
This gallery of corks and prizes.
You know a Meowclops could do this, she boasts,
It's very easy, she advises.

There's some faboo items to gain,
It's just so simple to do it.
I promise your effort won't be in vain,
The prizes are so easy to hit.

So for a mere one hundred neopoints - so few!
You'll be allowed your turn.
Just line up in the queue,
Look at the prizes you could earn.

Ah, it's your turn right now,
Just step up and aim.
Out the cork flies - pow!
Don't you love this amazing game?

Oh dear, you seem to have missed,
That doesn't happen often, at all.
You should really not desist,
You're sure to win a prize at my stall!

Caylis and Isca, Aisha Sisters
by amarettoball

Two Maraquan Aishas
Residing in the sea.
One had a look of disdain;
The other, a visage of glee.

"What would you like to do today?"
Isca asked her sister cheerily.
"Stay home and reflect on my miserable life,"
Caylis grumbled wearily.

"How about we hit the city?"
Isca suggested with a bright smile.
"You mean where I'll get weird stares?"
Her sister muttered with vile.

"It'll be fun; we'll go shopping!"
Isca tried again, her optimism unwavering,
"Yes, let's indulge in rampant consumerism,"
 Caylis quipped, her temper disfavoring.

"Then, a nice dinner at my home?"
Isca pleaded, her spirits slightly dampened.
"We exploded your oven last time,"
Caylis pointed out, all tact abandoned.

Isca grimaced wistfully,
Staring at her sister with big blue eyes.
"Caylis, what would make you happy?"
She inquired with a sigh.

Caylis's lips pulled upwards
In a slight hint of a grin.
She said, "But I am happy and having fun,
For you are my sister of the same fin."

Ode to Aisha
by chai7705

Ah, the mystery of Aisha
a species so stoic, yet stirring
our wonders this day in Sleeping.

Sisters under sea
and steersman upon it.
A dancer, a dreamer,
a wunderkind whiz.
Princesses across Neopia,
and beings from the beyond.

Such a diverse selection still share
some common bond between them -
a magical, marvelous thing:
Ah, the majesty of Aisha!

Imiya's Haikus
by clairevoiant

Math exam is near
The White Aisha’s filled with fear
Results are unclear

Hush, hush, go to sleep
Count the Babaas, count the sheep
Watch them as they leap

Tick, tock, time runs out
Scared Imiya wants to shout
Nightmare of self-doubt

She wakes from her rest
She will surely try her best
Yay! She aced that test

Now a holiday
No tests or stressors today
Happy Aisha Day!

Alien Aisha
by ketchup547

I'm looking out the window
Today, the sky is clear
My teacher's mouth keeps moving
But I can barely hear.

My four antennae wiggle
With a tiny shifting sound
My school is here in Brightvale
I can't stand it on the ground!

Gravity tugs at my bones
Each movement is a chore
I'm so homesick I could yell
My knees are getting sore.

I miss my glass bowl helmet
And my danderlice surprise
I miss my high-tech spaceship
Shooting through the starlit skies.

If my teacher sees me dreaming
He will take away this poem
Brightvale is nice and all
But I just want to go home!

Love from Mutant Aishas
by dzudea

Very few ever dare to
approach me,
 since I may look
quite grotesque
As a Mutant 'Pet,
all my surroundings
look lovely and picturesque.
But just like others of my kind,
I, too, deserve attention
I ought to be loved
especially since it's our Day
(in case this fact
wasn't mentioned.)

I think I speak
for other Aishas
changed by a certain potion,
when I say that we are capable
of a whole range of emotions.
We may have fangs
and two sets of lips
in lieu of Aisha ears,
but it is great
to keep in mind
that Mutants are loving,
and not worth your
stares and tears.

Most days, I feel nonexistent
like invisible 'Pets appear.
So I eagerly await to celebrate
this one day of the year!
(Hey, maybe Boochi will zap me,
and bring me so much cheer!)

On this special day,
it matters not if
you are Mutant,Yellow, or Grey:
As long as you're an Aisha (too)
you're bound to enjoy this day!
