That they would dream to own.
A pet they'd save and trade for,
So they'd never be alone.

The pet that I am dreaming of,
Is soft and sweet and true.
A cute Plushie Zafara,
That is unconverted too!

I won't stop until I find one,
Even if it takes all year.
Their soft fur and sweet face,
I really want to have one near.

I'll lurk upon the pound boards,
And keep watching every day.
To see if a Plushie Zafara,
Could someday come my way!

Ode To Edna

Deep in the Haunted Woods
Stands a tower, tall and grey.
Will you be courageous
And enter this Zafara day?
For in there lives a witch,
With fur of matted green,
A frightful sight to behold,
And older than mouldy cheese.
Her cauldron boils and bubbles,
She cackles as she stirs.
She dreams of being a super model,
Yes, beauty will be hers!
"Help me with my spell!" she calls,
"Hurry! There's not much time!"
Her gargantuan eye rolls excitedly.
"Yes! Beauty will be mine!"
Impatiently she waits
For the ingredients she requires
To perfect her beauty spell
And fill her hearts desires.
If you agree to help her out
So she can make her precious stew,
She'll reward you with a prize
And a neopoint or two.
But alas! Poor Edna's doomed to fail
For her spells oft go awry.
She'll never be a beauty queen
With her gargantuan eye.
But she'll keep on trying,
This Zafara, green and spooky.

The Zafara in the Pound

Pound-surfing at 2 a.m. NST,
I spy a Zafara smiling at me;
He’s not very special with a level of three,
But upon meeting, he acts friendly.

His soft fur is azure with stars twinkling bright,
Like skies o’er a desert on a clear winter night;
And he gazes at me with his big soulful eyes
That reflect the vastness of Kreludor skies.

I marvel at why he could be pound-stuck
When owning his species will bring one good luck,
It’s then that I realize with unbridled glee
That all of this time he was waiting for me.

Now on this day of Zafara celebration,
I plan to test his glowing reputation…
I’ll buy a ticket or two for the lottery,
And hope that I am as lucky as he!

The Making of a Plushie Zafara

One stitch, two stitch,
Three stitch, four.
Gather your fabrics and needles,
The stuffings and the trimmings,
It's on the cabinet by the door.

Five stitch, six stitch,
Seven stitch, eight.
Sew the ears and the arms and the tail,
Take special care with the paws,
Mind your fingers, it’s delicate!

Nine stitch, ten stitch,
Eleven stitch, twelve.
One patch here and another patch there,
A purple beauty with a yellow tuff,
Please hand me the scissors from the shelf!

Thirteen stitch, fourteen stitch,
Fifteen stitch, sixteen,
I think it’s really starting to come together,
Quick, take some polish,
Scrub scrub scrub, make it sheen!

Seventeen stitch, eighteen stitch,
Nineteen stitch, twenty.
Now we have ourselves a Plushie Zafara,
All sparkly eyes and bright smiles,
Shall we name her Jenny?

Zafara Fisherman Outfit

Beard of withered, pale white strands
Are long, unwashed, unkempt.
Trace of ocean in his hair
Is such a salty scent.

Boots are hardy rubber shoes,
So coated with coarse sand.
Used for trekking on the shores,
They're hardly used on land.

Fish held high in proud exult
Is fresh and slippery.
Sparkling in the morning sun,
Its scales are glittery.

Finally, the jacket, hat,
And trousers gleam so bright.
Made of orange plastic stuff,
They fill me with delight.

Celebrate the fisherman
Whose wizened, weathered form
Featured in this set of clothes
Shields pet through cloud and storm!

Edna the Zafara

To the Zafara in the tower
who speaks with a harrumph
and has no manners 
seriously, who calls someone plump?

To the mean old witch
in the Haunted Woods
it's still a holiday
so let's focus on the good

Her spells are quite powerful
if you need to shrink a negg
and often come in rainbows
now that's using your head!

After all, with one mistake
a moment, to her, quite low
resulted in her blasted from her tower
and separated from her shadow.

But, she does reward those who help
with delicious and tasty spooky food
of course, the question then becomes
if the food is any good.

But why do we do it?
Do we come from near and far?
Well, that's easy.
It's all for the avatar.

So although she's mean
and can turn you into a toad
deep inside we believe Edna
has a heart made of gold.

Ace's Race

Hello there, my name is Ace,
I’m a Zafara who floats in space,
Come join me on my rocket race!

At first it may seem like a game,
But someone uses it (Sloth’s his name),
In order to quickly spread his fame.

During the game Sloth posts an ad,
It makes the rockets’ engines bad,
And makes us players all quite mad.

The ads he sends block our way,
And makes the race take all day,
Now we want Sloth to pay.

Please help us by being quick,
To close his ads with a click,
This will ruin his marketing trick!

Zafaras like myself don’t need to fear,
Because of you, the ads disappear,
And the path to victory is now clear!

Zafara Carnival

On this beautiful day, we celebrate something,
let me share this with you, okay?

We celebrate the Zafara pets,
the butterflies are friendly, so leave the nets.

There's a picnic and even a carnival,
but beware, you must be at least 1 inch tall.

You can win prizes at the carnival as well,
and they are superb, so if you win, please do not yell.

Cause there will also be Poogles around,
they do get grumpy, that's why they're often found in the pound.

But let's forget that, and think about all the good, cause in the end, there will be fun, prizes and lots of food.

So get your tickets, and see you then,
it might be warm, so bring your fan.
