The Loyalty of a Gelert

I know a Gelert - tried and true,
He cheers me up when I am blue,
We play and run until we're sleepy,
With him, I am never weepy.

My Gelert is a loyal friend,
He'll stick it through til' the end,
He's always friendly, always calm,
His paw fits nicely in my palm.

Slobber and drool don't bother me,
When they're from someone friendly!
And Gelert-breath is never a care-
Neither is shedding hair.

For all those things don't mind-
When you have a friend like mine.

My Cloud Gelert Plushie

Its plush is so squishy, 
It's as soft as can be.
The Cloud Gelert Plushie,
Is a favourite for me.

You can stroke it gently,
Or you can give it a pat.
You can take it for walks,
Or sit it down on a mat.

With white fluffy clouds,
On its pastel blue fur.
It's a sweet little gift,
For him or for her.

It is shaped like a Gelert,
A most regal of pet.
Treat it just as kindly,
These pets never forget.

This sweet little plushie,
Is the cutest around.
Give yours a cuddle,
As you stroll through the town!

Leader of the Thieves

There's a shadowy group
of notable thieves
who will swipe anything
from Neopoints to keys.

Known for their desire
to take what they can get
The Thieves Guild is run
by a well known vet.

Kanrik the Gelert is head
of this band of crooks
taking over from Galem
by hook (but mostly crook)

That's not to say that
he's entirely all bad
He has a bit of a moral code
So that's something to be had

But thankfully he's kept
to be a honest thief, we hope
as Hannah the Usul keeps him
on a rather short rope.

But if something was stolen
then you know that Kanrik
at some point desired it
decided it needed to be fliched.

My Female Gelert Spy

I own a Gelert, and I love
Her lovely, trusting smile.
I love her twinkling, happy eyes.
She simply does beguile.

But, while she loves her girly look,
She also wants a change.
She's tired of wearing pink and peach.
She finds them rather strange.

She thinks it's time to change her clothes.
She wants a brand new look.
She wants to be a Gelert Spy.
Her mindset can't be shook.

My Gelert, once so feminine,
Becomes a stealthy spy.
She wears the Gelert Spy outfit,
No longer sweet or shy.

Her manner is emboldened, and
She swaggers through the streets.
She loves her striking, dark new look.
Her joy cannot be beat!

It's Gelert Day, so buy your own
An outfit she'll adore!
A brand new look will make her smile,
And make her spirits soar!

Celandra Gelert, We Are Thankful To You

Celandra Gelert we are thankful to you
Though most here won't know your name
Or how you rediscovered a wondrous place
Tho' they'll visit there just the same.
A loyal and faithful servant,
Maid to Fyora, the Faerie Queen,
Celandra you spent your days
Keeping the castle clean.
One day you discovered a trapdoor,
Leading to a courtyard, unkempt and wild
Curiosity and fear overcame you -
You knew not what you would find!
A magical doorway through which you peered
And made you gasp with pleasure,
Gleaming and glinting in the dusky light

As Fyora's maid you continue to work,
But it's time Neopians everywhere knew
About Celandra the loyal Gelert.

Build Your Own Robot Gelert

First collect your wires -
You'll need many different sorts,
Blue, and red, and yellow,
And others with their ports.

Plug them all in nicely,
To the central Gelert heart -
Don't forget to wire the brain,
If you want him to be smart!

Add some support structures,
To the neck, and legs, and face,
Make sure his joints are oiled -
And then he'll move with grace.

Wire up the mainframe,
So his ears have free range,
And don't forget the tail,
Or your Gelert will just look strange.

Once you are quite happy,
With the basic Gelert design,
It's time to add the casing,
Which will help to make him shine.

After the chest housing,
Come the legs, and tail, too.
And finally the cranium,
Which is finished in light blue.

Then one last thing remains to do,
As you press the switch to 'on',
Your Robot Gelert will need a name,
And then this project's done!

The Mysterious Musician

I don't know the Neopian
but I listen as she plays
her Cello by a garden
on the cloudiest of days.
Her visage is mostly concealed,
but her voice is heard
when the mysterious musician
pairs each chord off
with her own gentle words.
Her sweet voice and
instrument's melodies
are heard throughout the land
Though she is far from famous,
her songs are absolutely grand!

I don't know the Neopian
but the Cello's her sole friend
providing her companionship
as the long days pass and end.

The mysterious musician
must be a Gelert; I just know
that any 'Pet 
with musically inclined,
long ears can put
one heck of a show!

Ode to Kanrik

A long, long time ago,
Comes the story of a fight.
Where good conquered evil,
To restore the balance right.

It began with our dear Hannah,
And her friend Armin too.
They stopped the Bringer and Galem;
How the good guys pull through!

But, it wasn’t just those two.
No, they had an unusual hand.
Kanrik, leader of the Thieves Guild,
Changed his motives to take a stand.

He changed his mind to help,
Leaving his heartless ways behind.
Hannah and Armin needed support;
They were unstoppable when combined.

Now that this war is long over,
What is Kanrik even up to?
You’d think that the lull in battles,
Would leave him nothing to do.

But, alas, you are mistaken!
For this Gelert is in full swing.
Go find him at the Obelisk,
Where he’s entered the fighting ring.

He’ll lead the Thieves Guild to victory,
If he can beat the Order and Sway.
Careful though – he’s quiet strong.
If you’re ready, it’s to the fray!

Give it up for Tandrak Shaye!

There's a Gelert in the startup line
Tandrak Shaye is his name
Known for his skills and good looks
Fans flock to the stadium to watch his game

Shaye's plays are always fantastic
Be it attack or defense
He maintains a consistent form throughout
Probably the reason why he's never tense

He does have too, some weaknesses
Prone to injury and weak at scoring
These are made up for by his strengths
So overall, his matches are never boring

In the Month of Relaxing, when the Cup starts
Many Neopets support this team
All members clad in purple and black

The Gelert Ranger

In the forest, all alone
Lives a ranger oh so swell
A Gelert of the sweetest kind
That everyone knows well.

The Gelert ranger, a kind spirit
With boots and jacket green
With kindled love for archery
And eyes and hearing keen.

He may be mysterious
But he helps the needy and small
Amongst the forest leaves and greenery
And the plants that rise so tall.

The Gelert ranger, with his hand made bow
With arrows sharp and long
Alone in the forest day in and out
Alone with his heart song.

The Gelert ranger, we adore you
And thank you for your love
For on this day we celebrate you
And all the Gelerts we can think of.
