The Lively Lands of Meridell
By Baby_girl_809
In the lands of Meridell,
Where we all belong,
Where the grass shines with the sun,
And Turmac sleeps along.
There lived two kings within that land,
Two very different kinds,
King Skarl favored funny jokes,
King Hagan liked smart minds.
Within the mingle of the trees,
Inside the humble home,
There lived Illusen, earthly green,
Who dreamily sits alone.
Beyond majestic mountains green,
There sits a little hut
Where cheese is made and rolled through hills,
And careful! Be you must.
Into the Meri Acres Farm,
The ripest berries grow,
Marrows bloom up from the ground,
And potatoes overflow.
O Meridell, a land of green,
Where Ixis live and thrive.
O Meridell, a land of peace,
Where farmers spend their lives.

Sinsi Shapeshifter Sonata
By Archangellight
Sinsi's Sword simply shines,
Swiftly Slicing all it finds!
Sulking shadow spectres slowly whine,
When Sinsi slips them down to size!
Sinsi's Grail goes grandly great,
Gouging ghouls to graven fates.
Then as a goblet for grog to guzzle,
A gourmet grenade from this Ixi's puzzle!
On an Ixi's head held humbly high,
Sinsi's helm hits horribly hard!
Hurtling heavy at hostile foes,
Hurting harmfully where Sinsi goes!
Sinsi's Crown calls craven cowards,
To come and catch a cruel demise!
Cautious like a cloistered castle,
This crown commands cold creatures crumble!
Sinsi's Gauntlet gleely glows,
Glorious and graceful this glove grips,
As grunting ghosts Sinsi grapples,
Grumbling as they grind into the gravel!

Where All Is Good
By Qimmin
Soft footsteps patter in the glade,
Above the grass and through the trees,
Mighty Balthazar rests his blade,
Forgetting faeries for what he sees.
Slow light filters into green,
Dust motes wander between the blooms,
Nothing is what it seems,
Shifting shadows eerily loom.
A Pawkeet caws in the distance,
But nothing disturbs the calm found here,
For the long aged warrior peace commence,
For that moment he haunts no fear.
Anger washed away a while,
Dandelions grow at his feet,
An instant with no thoughts vile,
Fur tickled with a breeze.
But good things never last,
And great things never long,
Balthazar recalls the past,
And once more does his wrong.

Beautiful Grey
By Shelbster118
Sitting here and all alone,
In a world of my own,
Sad grey eyes might tell my tale,
My talent, strength, all destined fail.
Once I was a beauty queen,
My violet coat was filled with sheen,
Curling silver for each horn,
Faerie wings swift swirls adorn.
Meridell's dainty Ixi star,
Flying to cities near and far,
Showing off my grace and glow,
A beauty none could ever know.
Yet time began to take its toll,
I was no longer a young foal,
My dazzling hooves lost all their sheen,
Once golden eyes faded to green.
My lustrous fur was clouded grey,
Quite wondrous wings crumpled away,
Now here I stand equally proud,
But lost are the eyes of the crowd.
When you see me don't feel remorse,
My life has simply run its course,
Instead think of all my old years,
Rejoice for me; don't shed your tears.

Illusen's Nightmare
By Elvin28
Cool was the night as the fog set in,
Still were the leaves of Illusen's Glade,
The kind earth faerie; sleeping,
A hateful curse did this stranger bade.
When awaken did they in the morning,
By the golden sun's first light,
Came to see poor Illusen,
Curled up, eyes wide; fright.
Black had become of her wispy locks,
The green in her hair, gone.
Pale was her skin like river rocks,
Eyes dull as a murky pond.
Her clothes were nothing but purple rags,
Faerie wings, replaced.
Unfurled in bracken were bat-wings,
Folded in darkened grace.
The earth faerie; Illusen,
Crying out in woe,
Now of a dark faerie,
Heart cold as stone.
A gasp left her lips,
Warm eyes opened wide,
There she lay in the moonlight,
Lying 'pon her side.
It was only a dream,
A horrid nightmare at that,
And she contemplated it,
On her leaf woven mat...
