Though it wasn't normally a good idea to walk blindfolded and unarmed into a dark cave
with an icy creature sleeping inside, in the middle of the month of Celebrating, with a horrible case of the Neoflu,
while a terrible snow storm was brewing just beyond Terror Mountain... this was an exception. Actually, KJ_Storm the
silver Kougra was the exception. He was highly trained for this sort of thing, in fact, he was training for this
mission all of his life and it was the only way he could ever...

...earn the right to join the Kougra Korps. What is the Kougra Korps you ask? Why, they are a group of professional
warriors who live deep in the jungles of Mystery Island. Only the very best of the best can ever hope to become one of
them, but KJ_Storm had been training for so long he was sure he was the best of the best. And now at long last he had
a chance to prove it. After many months of searching, he had finally located the secret Korps' headquarters and arranged
for his acceptance test, and nothing was going to stop him from completing it now...

...except that KJ_Storm was highly allergic to snow... but that still wasn't going to stop him.
Trying to hold his breath so he wouldn't sneeze, KJ made his way deeper inside the scary cave. The walls shook from
sudden but little avalanches outside, and the loud annoying sounds of the Snowager sleeping, were giving KJ a headache.
Worst of all KJ couldn't see because of the blindfold. He kept on bumping into walls and knocking his head against
lit torches that were against the icy frozen walls.
As KJ approached the Snowager (he knew because the snoring was now very loud) he felt something in his nose. It was
itchy and KJ wanted to scratch it but his paws were tied up in the big jacket he had on. He couldn't take it anymore
he had to sneeze, but what if the Snowager awoke. KJ was desperate...

...Suddenly he had the answer! He found a sharp edge on the icy cold cavern walls, and scratched his nose on it.
Relieved, he slowly walked onwards, closer to the snoring beast, more determined and scared than ever. The Snowager
was now only around the corner, he could almost feel the breathing of the animal. He inhaled for a deep breath, but
as he breathed out, the sneeze he suppressed earlier managed to shoot out without warning, and blow his blindfold
right off his face onto the Snowager's pile of treasure.
Instantly, the Snowager awoke, annoyed that something had disturbed him in his slumber. "Who dares to come disturb me?!"
he asked. The Snowager sniffed and could smell that something was nearby, but because these icy caverns were still very
windy he couldn't tell where it came from. He decided to pretend it was nothing and go back to sleep, with one eye half
open.
In the meantime, our brave little Kougra nearly had a heart attack, fearing that the Snowager could hear his heart
pounding. KJ stood tightly against the cavern walls, as frozen as the ice around him. A few moments later, which
seemed like hours, he could hear the Snowager snoring again, and allowed himself a small sigh of relief. Slowly, and
cautiously, he stepped onward, for just around the corner was his goal...

...or so he thought. KJ rounded the corner, and nearly fell over in shock. There was nothing there. Nothing at all.
He had worked so hard...for nothing. The Snowager was snoring peacefully behind him. KJ sat down, afraid to head back.
"Anyone hungry?" a voice suddenly called.
KJ sat up a little straighter. "Were you born in a cardboard box?" KJ hissed.
"I wouldn't be insulting me!" a raspy voice replied, and two red glowing eyes pierced
menacingly through the darkness.
"L-leave me alone!" KJ yelled, totally forgetting about the Snowager. "I-I'm going to join the Kougra Korps!" he
called out. "Don't mess with me!" It was silent, and the red eyes faded away. "Scared him!" KJ chuckled to himself.
But then he realised who that was. He heard a low rumble from behind him and gasped in fear as the Snowager
rounded the corner, whispering something to the Kougra...

..."Why yes, yes, you'll do nicely, quite nicely," remarked the Snowager in a smooth, oily voice half to
himself, which scared the already alarmed Kougra right out of his wits. Then KJ remembered his all-important
mission; the successful completion of which would make him a member of the Kougra Korps. The Snowager drew
closer and again spoke, "So many brave little Kougras have come to my cave for the same reason as you, and
very few have ever beaten me. You were sent to get a bit of treasure from my cave so you could enter those
ridiculous Korps, right?" sneered the Snowager.
KJ was annoyed, even in his fear. "The Kougra Korps are not ridiculous. Although you know a lot, you are
not smart enough to figure out that I'm going to make it. See what I have right here?" KJ showed a glinting
piece of treasure he had been holding behind his back. "That's right, Snowy, it's a bit of treasure. Which makes
me a member of the Kougra Korps for life!"
The Snowager smirked at the tiny figure before him. "Well, Kougra, your life might turn out to be pretty short,"
he said, opening his disgusting mouth to reveal rows of razor sharp teeth, to which remains of past meals were
still clinging...

...The Snowager suddenly came at KJ with full speed. As the revolting creature drew near, terror cam over KJ.
He began to run, when he tripped over something lying at the back of the cave. With an astonished look, he
realised what it was. "The Rod of Supernova!" he exclaimed.
He turned towards the oncoming Snowager, standing firmly. The Snowager's mouth twisted into a terrible grin. KJ
looked up, determined and ready to destroy the oversized serpent...

...Bracing himself against the inevitable battle, legs apart and bent, and with the end of the Rod firmly planted
firmly on the ground, KJ felt something strange, as if a part of himself took flight at that moment, taking with
it all fear and apprehension. In its place, all that was left was the cool calculation of an experienced general,
and a flush of warmth that crept from his chest to all parts of his body. He was soon filled with the red heat of
Kougra Rage. The years he spent training, all of it flooded his senses with the knowledge he had gained. Snarling
under his breath, a small part of him resolved that nothing, absolutely nothing, could stop him now. Screaming a
battle cry at the Snowager, he lunged forward, setting into motion a chain of events he could have never imagined...

...Suddenly, the Rod of Supernova exploded. Bits of it flew all over the place. The Snowager was so shocked
that it missed, and crashed into the wall. There was an immediate cascade of snow and ice. KJ let out a huge
sneeze. He looked at the paw that had been holding the Rod of Supernova. It now had a glowing, white wand, about
the length of his forearm. He stared, wondering what it was. Just then, the Snowager reared up above him...

...Frozen like the ice walls around him, KJ stood there, the Snowager posed menacingly above his head, foul breath
wafting down. KJ choked on the smell, but his brain was jolted awake. In a weak attempt to defend himself, he
shoved the magical wand that had appeared from the now shattered Rod into the Snowager's ugly, snarling face.
KJ's enemy recoiled mockingly. "OOOH, I'm so scared. Is that the Kitty Korps special signal? I bet they're
rushing over here right now!" While this was going on, KJ frantically racked his memory for something, ANYTHING,
that might help him now. Nothing came to his mind. He brought the wand down, and suddenly noticed that a
sparkling silver orb was perched on the top. Without thinking, KJ tore the orb off, spun around and flung the
silver ball towards the Snowager. But instead of hitting his enemy, the orb hung in midair for about five
seconds. Nobody said anything. Just then the orb burst open, and a blinding flash of light and heat filled
the ice room. In slow motion, it seemed, the cave began to melt...

"Uhh... Oops... Sorry..." KJ Said.
"SOOOORRRYYYY IIIISSSSNNN'TTT NNOOOOUUUGHH..." The Snowager began to melt, as did all the ice around him.
Just then, a siren was heard. It was the siren of the Chia Police. They all ran into the cave. The leader of the
Kougra Korps was leading the way. Walking into the cave, the Chia Police and the Kougra Korps' leader stared at
KJ.
"Okay," the leader began, "Young Kougra, thanks to you, the play has been ruined!!! You'll never be in the
Korps now!"
"WHAT?!?! What play? You mean this whole thing wasn't real? Hello? Anyone there? Mum?"
