A Tyrannian Trampoline Story
by Sugarypixiestix2
The day I brought it home was full of joy,
I finally had a Tyrannian Trampoline toy!
All year long I'd been saving my Neopoints,
working at Grundo's Cafe with sore joints.
It was finally here, which was almost unreal,
while putting it together I had much zeal.
In my backyard I stayed until it was done,
my Neopets could not wait to have some fun.
At last, after hours, I was finally finished,
our excitement was not at all diminished.
We had decided to jump on it all at once,
but just as I did I then felt like a dunce.
We didn't bounce like we thought we would;
I worried that my trampoline was no good.
Then my Ixi pointed out its label to me;
reading it, I started to lose all my glee.
Tyrannian Trampolines are not for bouncing,
or even for a few hours of gentle pouncing.
If only I had known but I was out of luck --
there's nothing I could do now, I was stuck.
So, I decided to make the best of this thing,
declaring it was our own stage and to sing!
Thank goodness I had
my old karaoke machine,
which was put to good use on our trampoline.

Success Pending...
by Rowanturner
That was the best game I've ever played
And now my score is sending,
But there is nothing that I hate
Quite like the phrase, "Success Pending..."
The stress is building by the minute,
I don't know what I should do.
Did I make the High Score Table,
Or must I start anew?
I've been waiting for ten minutes now,
Did the servers fail?
By the time I get my Neopoints
I'll be old and frail!
The Hasees still haven't stopped,
I only want the truth.
Waiting for my scores to send
Will be how I waste my youth!

How To Detangle A Tanglepus
by Yarslov
I brought up a Tanglepus
From the fishing spot
The other day,
And my Neopet
Would like to play,
But sadly it cannot,
For the Tanglepus is tied up in knots!
I started at one end,
Seeing if I can break through
All the tangled-up tentacles,
But sadly they stuck together like glue.
Not knowing what to do,
I grabbed some shampoo.
I gave it a bath
And, I must laugh,
For it wasn't having any fun.
I carefully grab the brush,
The "operation" has begun.
Little by little
I seem to make way,
Untangling the Tanglepus
Was underway.
It felt like hours,
Maybe it was,
But in the end it was worth it, 'cause...
The Tanglepus was now detangled --
Well, for a little while,
But soon enough all the evidence of my effort
Was washed away,
When it and my 'pet played.

Only In A Dream
by Comawhite333
Lounging on the beach
By a magnificent palm tree,
Relaxing in the sun
Sipping Mystery Island iced tea.
The waves softly lap to shore
While Myncis play beach volleyball.
You slip slowly off to sleep,
Hearing seagulls call.
You find yourself
In a magical place,
Somewhere outside
Our only known space.
You explore this land,
Walking across a lake made of glass.
Seeing a luminescent Koi
Holding a trident made of brass.
You give him a smile
As you step ashore,
While he melts away like ice
Into the lake floor.
It begins to snow powdered sugar
While chocolate trees slowly sway.
This scene is the most exquisite of all,
Surrounded by tall mountainous parfaits.
You sprout wings from your back,
Flying up so high,
You land on a fluffy marshmallow cloud,
Levitating in a sherbert colored sky.
Laying on the sweet cloud,
You watch a sun made of lemon jelly,
Then feel a terrible burning sensation
Crawling across your belly.
Confusion hits, as you wake on the beach...
This should have been foreseen.
If you nap on the beach,
Always invest in sunscreen.
And as the pains of reality hit,
You wish you could go back to that place,
Where things aren't as they seem.
Where does this happen?
Only in a dream.

Living Life Free
by Chickendootch
Nothing in life is free.
There is no such thing as a free lunch.
"Nonsense!" I exclaim with glee;
Freebies are gathered around in a bunch!
Neopoints or a smelly old boot,
Anything could belong to you,
If you're quick enough you'll get some loot.
At the Money Tree, dreams come true!
Roll up, roll up!
Spin the drum around and around.
Hear the tickets fly about,
The barrel always turns a frown.
STOP! Plant your hand.
Pull out a ticket, what will it be?
Hope it ends in zero, two, or five to land,
Tombola will fill you with glee.
Are you hungry, famished?
Is your stomach grumbling?
But your pantry contents
Have been banished...
And opening the fridge
Only results in mumbling?
You won't go hungry,
Eggy delight is close at hand!
Head to The Giant Omelette
Before you get grumpy,
The Lost Desert is a magical land. :D
Grab a piece for yourself,
Each one has its own toppings!
Green pepper, or maybe
Carrots and peas for good health --
Just watch out for that rotten slopping!
Maybe jelly is more your style?
Sweet, bouncy delight.
All flavors, too, look around a while.
"Lemon," "banana," and "dung"
Might make a fright. D:
You don't need a fortune,
You can have anything you want.
All you need is some patience
And a little bit of luck!
