The frosting, so buttery and thick,
Tops this decadent creation.
Perched atop that is a stick
(But don't eat that, it's just decoration!)

You'll feel a sense of great contentment
And your unbridled delight
While eating this decadent refreshment,
You'll revel in every single bite!

So grab yourself a cupcake
And enjoy this beautiful day.

Today is Illusen Day, so let's celebrate 
The life of an earth faerie who's nothing but great. 
She's in synchrony with nature and uses her powers 
To promote the growth of grass, trees, and flowers. 
Everyone can see that the kindness in her is innate. 

Throughout the day, she's often entertaining guests, 
Who come from far and wide to complete her quests. 
People often wonder what she does with the stuff. 
Well, I don't know either, so don't go off with a huff! 
She gives good rewards, so bring her what she requests. 

Illusen likes to walk through the woods and move her joints. 
She also randomly gives out ten thousand neopoints. 
During winter, she likes to participate in snowball fights.
Be on the lookout, because she will have you in her sights!
There is no one in this world who she disappoints.

Illusen’s Sprouts of Peace

Warm leafy-greens and homey-clay browns,
Decorate an earth faerie in a medieval town,
A saint to Meridell - just with no crown,
Illusen’s Glade is where folks gather around,
An oasis of refuge, a haven safe and sound.

Sanctifying those in need of dire rest,
When it comes to rescues, Illusen’s the best,
Here, there is no such thing as being stressed,
For even if King Skarl did not like your jest,
In her comforts, you will only be blessed.

Guardian of the Woodlands and all it can be,
Illusen is said to have once been forced to flee,
Jhudora chased her out, and despite her plea,
Evil remains in Faerieland, to a darkened glee,
All that she could grab were seedlings of trees.

With these sprouts she inspires and exudes,
The most radiant form of a positive mood,
Her first quest rewards with a creamy food,
A yummy treat bound to improve your attitude,
Nurturing aura fosters peace by magnitudes.

Illusen Day Parade

Today we head for Meridell,
And ring a celebration bell,
In honor of Illusen the Earth Faerie,
Kind in times of peace and war,
Her Glade always an open door,
She finds Dark Faeries to be eerie.

We take to the streets and sing a song,
Her love for Meridell is mighty strong,
Doing her quest can give powerful items,
For a couple minutes of time,
Then back to the Glade you climb,
To wield her rewards, excitement heightens.

She is the guardian of the woods,
From her you'll get some magical goods,
She may visit you and grant neopoints,
Just don't work for Jhudora,
Instead dwell among the flora,
Atop the Glade there are great viewpoints.

Like her the Glade is calm with peace,
She'll fight for good if calm should cease,
And offer a refuge for the wounded,
She is truly a shining star,
And so we celebrate close and afar,
Even after today has concluded!

A Quest for Illusen

When a simple girl
Stumbled upon the home
Of Illusen the Earth Faerie
Along came this poem

When the Earth Faerie asked
For a simple request
I went on a journey 
To fulfill her quest

I didn’t know exactly
Which way to go
So I began to panic
That I would be too slow

I ran to each shop
And tried to quickly find
That one certain item
That was on Illusen’s mind

I was getting disheartened
While on shop nine
That I wouldn’t be able 
To return to her on time

I ran to my Safety Deposit Box
To grab a potion
To lift my spirits up
Amidst all the commotion

When all of a sudden
What did I see
The exact item
Illusen asked of me

I grabbed it and ran
Back to Meridell’s woods
And present Illusen
With all of her goods

Illusen smiled and stated,
“You did well, Neopian!”
My heart burst with pride
As I thought I’d be defeated

Today I learned that
In completing a quest
To not give up
And just do your best

Illusen

In a glade within the distance
Just beyond the Meridell wood
There's a tiny forest clearing
Home to a Faerie that is good

Illusen the Earth Faerie
Is the kindest one you'll meet
She gives all the woodland critters
A place to stay and food to eat

I've heard she helps neopains
Who wander into her home
Giving them quests for items
So she doesn't have to roam

With beautiful leafy wings
And freckles on her nose
She's the epitome of cuteness
From her head down to her toes

So on this day of celebration
We know what Faerie we like best
Support the one in the woods
Not in the bluff for quests!

Like some four leaf clovers
And deck me with shamrocks
Make me lucky all over

I’ll be looking for that pot
At the end of every rainbow

Like Illusen’s hair
Let’s dance in the clover fields
Without a worry or care

I'm Sorry, Illusen

I'm sorry, Illusen, for I could not find 
A blue Draik toy that one must wind. 
The shops were sold out, I couldn't believe it,
It really wasn't my fault, not even a bit!

I'm sorry, Illusen, I failed again.
I thought what you wanted was a Rusty Old Can.
I couldn't hear you over the Mortogs exploding,
What? Oh, I suppose that means I must be going.

I'm sorry, Illusen, for I didn't mean to.
A Puppyblew raided my inventory, who knew,
And made off with my Rest in Peace of Chicken.
Guess this quest will rest in peace too, Illusen.

I'm sorry, Illusen, it's back to square one,
I ran out of time, and now this quest is done.
I had to take my Pteri to the Healing Springs,
He wouldn't stop complaining about his aching wings.

I'm sorry, Illusen, you must be disappointed,
I couldn't find what you wanted in that shade of red.
I saw yellow, blue, green and even white,
Yes, I know, none of those were right.

I'm sorry, Illusen, is this the last straw?
In doing your quests, I have truly reached a new low.
I dropped that hair brush you wanted into a pile of dung.
Believe me, when that happened, it really stung. 

I'm sorry, Illusen, I'll just start over,
Maybe next time I'll bring a twelve leaf clover.
I haven't had the best of luck getting you what you want,
How about I paint you a sign in fancy green font?

I'm sorry, Illusen, but at least today is your day,
It's time for you to celebrate and have your way.
And as for me, today I will stay out of your hair,
I'll try again tomorrow for your magical wares.

Illusions Glade Background

So subtly lit, the forest glade
Glows with an inner light.
You feel enchantment linger here.
It is an awesome sight.

The ground is soft, and scented with
Some wildflowers so sweet.
They waft perfume throughout the air.
Their beauty can’t be beat.

A group of trees stand tall and strong,
Their boughs so rich and brown.
They blossom with some flowers pink,
The loveliest around.

Some fireflies blink on and off,
Such darling little bugs.
They dance in little circles, and
Your heartstrings they do tug.

And finally, some mushrooms red
Sway in the evening breeze.
They’re quaint and small, so full of charm,
And sheltered by the trees.

The dusk is silent, cool and calm.
The glade, serene and still.
Despite the mellow, placid scene,
It fills you with such thrill.

This background is a stunning thing,
And radiates such light.
You’ve never seen a brighter place,
So elegant and bright.

Illusen’s Glade is known to all,
And all adore its grace.
