The Alien Aisha Invasion

Once upon a time, high above the sky, 
The peaceful land of Neopia was spied on by squinted eyes.

Dr. Sloth wasn't the only one with plans to invade
Neopia over the years, I'm afraid.

But the Alien Aishas' methods were far more subdued
Than a certain space Doctor; his methods so rude.

A young lieutenant, with a spring in her step,
Boarded the ship of Commander Xaxqlep.

"Commander!" she said, with a smile.
Cheerfulness was truly her quintessential style, 
Though maybe her style was a bit juvenile.

"What is it, Lieutenant?" he said,
Slightly tilting his head.
He had just finished eating some Greasy Bread Spread.

"The invasion is coming along very well,
and I just came here 'cause I wanted to tell-"

Xaxqlep interrupted. "Just tell it to me straight."
He found her wordiness to be quite profligate.

"Alright, as you wish..." she frowned and then sighed,
but soon after that she was grinning quite wide.

She reported on the success of their grand machinations
Of getting more Aishas in more new locations.

An increase in the supply of morphing potions
Certainly helped things, I have a notion.

She was getting excited, so she said this quite hammily:
"More Neopets than ever have an Aisha in the family!"

She even reported Neohomes with as many as twenty!
When it came to their numbers, now Aishas were plenty.

Those devoted owners, the Lieutenant truly admired,
Though for Aishas, good species weapons were still not acquired.
Her voice started making Xaxqlep somewhat tired.

"That's almost everything," he said.
Mentally, he was ready for bed.
"So much good news makes it hard to complain,
but there's one final thing I'd like you to explain."
As he reached for a drink with a bit of caffeine,
he asked, "What's the status on the Vending Machine?"

"The Vending Machine," she said with a smirk, "is our most successful plot."
"Neopians from near and far all keep buying our Nerkmids for a shot
at Paint Brushes and shiny trophies, but we don't give out a lot.
When they win one of our gross foods,
it tends to dampen their moods.
More often than not, they'll leave gross food to rot, 
and then we can dig in," she giggled and grinned.

"Their decisions, so rash, but it saves us some cash.
We can feed an entire battalion just with their trash."
The Commander chalked it up to a cultural clash.

"Thank you, Lieutenant, that all will suffice."
Getting thanked by the Commander? That's unusually nice.

Having finished their meeting, the two parted ways,
As the Commander got ready to go hit the hay.

But between you and me, I think it's safe to say
The invasion is indeed well underway.

I'll make one more suggestion before you look away:
If you've yet to do so, adopt an Aisha today!

In Celebration of Aisha Day

In Neopia, I truly believe that you can't help but find,
a more majestic creature that is as beautiful or handsome as it is kind.
Very intelligent, even considered quite brilliant as they are,
even while they dream-they are always reaching for the farthest star!
Some of them are thought to be counted among the thieves who take items from other Neopians unaware,
but even the most "evil" of these species turned their haunting visions into ways to help save New Maraqua from utter despair.
Whether they use their intellect for ambitious Alien merchandise or to strategize the defeat of the dark Darigan forces greed for Meridell's lands they tried to gain,
whatever the challenge -you know that this species provides a clever navigator or quick-thinking waitresses to serve arguing crews of Pirates while peace they maintain.
Even from the long ago past this species demonstrates determination and dedication,
so if you plan to sack an abandoned mansion you'll quickly retreat upon meeting this species' ghostly relation.  
Upon greeting royalty from this breed their characteristics of elegance and culture are obvious to everyone,
while shouldering great responsibility they never forget that "it's all about style" to get the job done.
Many of these Neopian citizens come in pairs of two that seem to double their talents for magic and fun,
whether they are planning to 'lift' a sweet treasure or send a greatly feared villain like Captain Scarblade on the run.
I can't imagine that anyone after reviewing the deeds of heroism that this species have obtained,
that anyone would ever cast dispersion on these truly magnificent yet humble pets they have remained.

Lisha's brilliance and Imiya's determination are followed by King Kelpbeard's charges-Isca and Caylis,
Farlax V's ambitions and Abigail's cleverness are mirrored in Hoban's masterful talent and Loretta and Rosetta Fontaine having their humour and wits to manage motley Pirates without a miss.
 Mrs. Prenderghast keeps thieves away while Lady Osiri and Princess Amira model the epitome of culture and breeding,
I didn't even mention Princess Sankara's yearning for justice to lead an army of her own against the evil King Heksas and the depth of courage she would be needing!
I guess I'll end on the fun-loving Kyishi, who at the age of 17,
is known far and wide as the Limbo Queen.
If you haven't figured out by now what all of these Aishas have in common,
I will have to tell you that they are ALL "full of life" which is what their amazing tales directly summon.

Dark Eyes the Aisha

Once upon a time, in a lengthy script, 
a story created as the pages flipped, 
of an Aisha with clouded eyes, 
and could only hear lies, 
a story that keeps any reader gripped. 

Dark Eyes was the Aisha’s name, 
And of the world, she only felt shame, 
Heroic deeds, she saw selfishness, 
Promises, she heard deceptiveness, 
To her, Neopia was utterly lame. 

You see, her vision was cursed, 
with eyes that only saw the worst. 
When she crossed a dark faerie, 
the result was quite scary, 
the hex was the faerie’s outburst. 

How will Dark Eyes overcome? 
Will her world be nothing but glum? 
Settle in a cosy chair to read, 
and flip the worn pages to see, 
and cry or relish in the outcome!

S is Snot Aisha

The lab ray starts up and flashes
I feel as against my body it crashes
My skin begins to become very sticky
It feels even a little bit icky

The A around my neck slowly becomes an S
As my body becomes drenched in snot no less
At this transformation the other pets stare
With their complexions still rather fair

I feel embarrassed at my state
And for owner’s judgment I wait
As a pool of mucus gathers around my feet
Hoping I’ll get clothing to be more discrete

To my surprise she steps forward with a smile
An expression I have not seen in a while
She wraps me up in a giant hug
I feel so warm, happy, and snug

You are perfect she says, I love you so much
As she pulls away and pats the top of my head with a touch
I am reassured that I am pretty as I am
As we return to the festivities of the Aisha Day program.

The Alienated Ones

There's a beloved species throughout the lands,
They have four ears, but two legs and two hands.
There is, however, a stranger breed,
This Aisha is very extraordinary, indeed.

They wear space helmets, and almost look like a mix.
Although four is normal, this Aisha has six.
And it may be because they don't come from this planet,
For these Aishas are green, but we don't mind it.

The Alien Aisha is a unique type of pet,
There's no brush or potion that people can get.
The Lab Ray or Fountain are the only routes,
To get the majestic Alien Aishas in suits.

A famous alien duo, Eddix and Moxi,
Travel through space in a world that looks boxy.
Collecting stars on Wuba Prime and Kreludor,
Fighting foreign creatures, and travelling more.

So on this day to celebrate Aishas with fun,
Don't forget about the alienated ones.
They're most beloved and happily unique,
Give them the love and attention they seek!

Celebrating Aisha Day!

On the third day of the month of Sleeping,
we come together for a special occasion.
It's a time for cake, songs, and leaping
as we celebrate the very special Aisha.

Dating back before records in years,
Aishas were discovered in Neopia Central.
Recognized by their trademark ears,
and slim eyes, they're easy to spot.

You may not know they have a gift,
a talent towards magical things.
They search the stars for a lift
in spirits, wisdom, and guidance.

They have a certain elegant way,
in both appearance and conduct.
Perhaps it's what has caused the sway
in making them so popular today.

Grab yourself an indulgent slice
of Aisha Chocolate Cheesecake
and celebrate a day in paradise
with your beloved Aisha by your side.

Becoming an Aisha

Annadie doesn’t like being a Peophin anymore;
She didn’t bother her tail and her mane before,
But nowadays she avoids looking at the mirror,
And she would rather be any other creature.
She finds her colour so dull, and boring too
The shade of Pirate pets can indeed be an issue!
She has a poster of Princess Amira on the wall,
With big eyes, and all her jewelry, she’s a doll!
Annadie stares at that portrait for some time:
‘To be like her I’d spend more than a dime!’,
She says. So, she grabs her purse and runs
To Neopia Central. Kauvara has many potions,
‘She will surely have something that suits me!’
Annadie declares with conspicuous glee.
The shopkeeper of the Magic Shop smirks:
She knows that every elixir she has works.
So, she asks, ‘How may I serve you, lady?’ 
‘Please, I want to get rid of this Peophin body’
Annadie sobs. ‘Becoming Aisha is my will!’
She adds, and her eyes lights up with thrill.
‘Christmas Aisha Morphing Potion is yours,
for 15,000 neopoints today only, dear Seahorse.’
Annadie eagerly drinks the elixir in one shot,
And her appearance suddenly changes a lot!
She has now four legs, and two pairs of ears;
‘Being an Aisha sounds exciting!’, she cheers.
Kauvara nods, and winks ‘Follow your dreams,
Some are easier to achieve than what it seems!’.

A Baby Aisha's First Snow

The first snowflake descends from the 
grey heart of winter as 
gently as a faerie's kiss; 
it lingers upon the window sill, vanishes  
and the Baby Aisha thinks nothing more of it. 
Neopia Central has known 
weeks of rain now, and it lends the perfect 
conditions for a nap. 

She awakens, yawning, and the 
cornflower wallpaper  
seems much brighter than usual. 
An investigative journey to the window yields 
a tiny gasp; 
past brief reflections of her light blue face 
and four blue ears,
beyond the glass, 
the yard is encompassed in 
blankets of white. 

She rushes outside and although she 
had read about snow before, 
the frigidity and fragility take her 
by surprise
as the tiny ice crystals part 
easily under delicate feet.
Is this truly the same sturdy stuff 
for shaping snowballs and Snow Bruces?

Breaths escape in frosty clouds.
Delighted, she composes 
her first snow angel 
It is a good day 
to be a Baby Aisha.

Isca and Caylis

I tell you a tale of the sisterly pair,
Isca and Caylis, with sea-foam white hair,
Eyes of pure topaz, swimming boundless and free
In the whirling Maraquan sea.

A king took them in, Kelpbeard by name,
When Old Maraqua was sadly overcame, 
And Isca and Caylis, blessed with the Sight both,
To the noble King Kelpbeard swore an oath:

To protect New Maraqua from a strange enemy,
Captain Scarblade and his heart of ebony,
Whose violent tendencies and jealousy
Had him up to new destructive devilries. 

One sister saw the future in her dreams,
And the other, only in her nightmares, it seems,
Both were able to protect this kingdom beloved,
They united their powers and Scarblade was shoved
Out of New Maraqua and into the deep
Where, legend has it, he still sleeps. 

And now breezes fly fair above New Maraqua
And the city thrives in a glad ocean,
Beneath ships and waves in unending motion,
And Isca and Caylis live in peace
Among the tide's gentle pull and release.

Slorg Rider

The big purple slorg
Trailed along
Leaving purple slime gunk
In a trail of purple gunk funk

He was giant and purple
His reliant quiet was quite stunning
Saddled and ready
He was patient and delightful

It was the Aisha Slorgrider that fans came to see
She was brave and resourceful
She patient and thoughtful
On her reliant quiet giant

The Neopets cheered and waved
As the Aisha Slogrider came
They even walked beside her
As they stepped right over
The purple slime gunk funk

The fans gave a wave 
Then they gave a sigh
They broke out their sweepers and their mops
They got down to their cleaning
Yes, the Slogrider was grand
But the gunk funk was not.
