Jhudora Day Special
Dark Faerie's Day
by doorknob39
Purple and green,
Purple and green,
Which faerie is the most mean?
Jhudora waits impatiently
Preparing for Neopia to see
Just how evil she can truly be.
Green and purple she knows
Will appear wherever she goes.
Do you begin to feel fear when the combo shows?
Jhudora all evil cannot be,
For some attend fearlessly
Her quests for us to see.
If quests are completed with success,
Even if performed under duress,
With great items she will bless!
So do not fear on Jhudora's Day,
Please throw your tears away,
For on this day, the Evil Queen herself will play!

Dessert for Jhudora
by silver_azalea
Sixteen minutes and fourteen seconds time
Should not be too long for a Neopet in their prime
She clicks her nails against her throne
Impatiently waiting as time onward does drone
A pet had come here a while ago, a Blue Kacheek
He had seemed to be rather meek
A newcomer to her orders
To collect things for her beyond Faerieland borders
A simple food item is what she desired
If he did not come back she would have him fired
She was rather hungry and it was time for lunch
Jhudora was looking forward to that cake to munch
One minute to go, another failure?
Oh wait here he comes running, with a trailer
Behind him he drags an enormous cake
Iced to perfection, a small smile across Jhudora’s face does break
It is decorated in purple and green, to perfection
As he wheels it up and slices her off a section
Handing her the plate he wishes her a happy birthday
She sends him off with a lolly through the hallway.

Jhudora's Storm
by symbolism
A storm collects itself in her hands.
A jagged strand of lightning, a cloud torn open
You can feel her thunder, cold to the touch
Will the storm rage on behind her eyes?
A jagged strand of lightning, a cloud torn open--
That's all she needs to awaken her quiet wrath.
Will the storm rage on behind her eyes?
In a flash of scorned violet, we will see
all she needs to awaken her quiet wrath,
curled up inside her like a dormant viper.
In a flash of scorned violet, we will see
how she loses herself to a gale within.
Curled up inside her like a dormant viper,
her fury is one you can feel inside your bones.
How she loses herself to a gale within--
She forgets when she begins the rain.
Her fury is one you can feel inside your bones.
You look outside, see the sky steeped in lavender.
She forgets when she begins the rain
how it feels to stop it long enough to see the sun.
With time, the storm runs dry, though
you can still feel her thunder, cold to the touch.
How it feels to stop the rain long enough to see
the sun--she remembers when she looks back
into the storm's soft eye.

Jhudora’s Twenty-Sixth Quest
by superkathiee
You approach a bluff shrouded in green smoke,
A dark faerie asks for your help, and you say “I accept!”
She replies, “Where is my Blue Fur Lined Cloak?”
And off to the markets you leapt.
A Blue Fur Lined Cloak, how much could that be?
You approach a yellow jubjub in a blue wizard hat,
He says “my friend, tell me what do you seek?”
You tell, and he searches, finding one just like that!
You purchase it quickly, and head back to her bluff,
For you know the dark faerie is awaiting your return.
She watches you approach, exclaiming “took you long enough!”
You hand her the cloak, anxious to know what you’ll earn.
Jhudora examines the cloak carefully, looking it over,
“It’s sufficient,” she says, handing you a Purple Spotted Shroom.
“To your ultimate prize, you are one step closer!
Soon again, Neopian, I will be ready for you.”

Jhudora Day Haiku
by kayahtik
Careful, if you dare
Just outside of Faerieland
Lives a dark faerie
She is Jhudora
Enemy of Illusen
For unknown reasons
Fulfil her request
She may grant you a reward
Beware if you fail
The dark faerie’s wand
May turn against the quester
And you will suffer

Jhudora, Judicious
by aurorapearl
All things must come to be,
And therefore all things are.
But at what cost? At what fee?
What's the price upon a star?
True leaders - not like you and I -
must make the hardest choice:
which realities will go awry,
and in which to invest voice.
Upon the outskirts of Faerieland
sits one such visionary -
time will tell what she has planned,
this infamous dark faerie.
Some call her deeds nefarious,
and her scheming vigilant;
and among descriptors various
none dispute her diligence.
There is no hour of the day
where she exchanges work for rest;
through cauldron spills and cauldron sprays
she issues quest after quest.
And why, you ask, does she not pause?
What plans has she in store?
What can't she achieve through Faerie laws?
What is all this work for?
I think her plan's too brilliant
for us to understand -
but her efforts are resilient,
so surely they are grand.
And none can say she doesn't know
the price of power she's amassed.
See her here, see her alone -
On the outskirts, the outcast.
For this I find I have much respect
for Jhudora, despite her flaws;
She has much honour in the aspect
that she is a slave to her own cause.
I hope I one day live to see
her grand vision unfurl.
In the meantime, we all agree
to give Jhudora Day a whirl!
(For after all, if it comes to be
that her dark dreams come true,
let it be said that little old me
celebrated her glory with you!)

A Quest For Jhudora
by midnightsmores
Purple and green fill your vision, A cloud of smoke comes swirling in
With a menacing laugh, and feelings of elysian, Jhudora stands before you with a sinister grin
The Faerie of Darkness, powers incomparable, Fear strikes your heart and she reaches out to you
I advise you to not let yourself become vulnerable, For you never know what she requires for her brew
"A quest?" She exclaims! In silence you stand,
"I can offer you handsome rewards" or so she claims,
And with a deep breath, you hold out your hand
"A few things needed, for my newest potion"
You jot down the items quickly
"Return with them to prove your devotion, or you may suddenly feel a bit sickly."
All through Neopia you rush through your list,
Looking through bookshops, food stores, and high in Virtupets Space Station
You can't seem to find her the secret to taking over Neopia,
but at least you have her Licorice Twists!
"You are out of time!!! Grr.." Jhudora's eyes pierce fear through your heart
"Maybe an easier quest for you next time!" she screams
So close to her giving you the Wand of the Dark Faerie,
You start to cry then suddenly wake up from a most panicked dream!

The Evil Jhudora
by geneames1
Jhudora sits upon her throne
eyes glitter in the gloom
an evil smile twists her lips
when a Lupe enters the room
"Did you bring the chair I want?
You didn't take too long."
The trembling Lupe says "Yes,I did."
she answers "Good. BEGONE!"
The Lupe turns tail and runs away
but know when he returns
Jhudora will keep tally
and pay him what he earns
So even though he's terrified
afraid of what she'll do
he'll keep on bringing items
until his quests are through

From the Bluff to the Glade
by solisregina
Remember the days we spent in the clouds
Talking of nothing and everything at all?
Who would have known
that both our home - and we -
could fall?
The jealousy and the hurt and lies
can outweigh so much we shared
even when it was to you -
only -
my soul was bared?
Nemeses now, and worlds apart
Our hearts did quickly grow;
Where once was love now becomes hate
Once friend becomes a
foe.
And when they come to do my quest,
I sense air of fauna and flora
I say "begone, ye Neopet, from me,
the Faerie
Jhudora!"
And yet the bitterness does fade
When I think of us as we were then
As inseparable as a pair could be
Me and
Illusen.

My Dark Jhudora
by chocolatefootballcat
Have you seen her on the heights,
Spreading out her wicked wings?
The spark and crackle of her fire,
Which down her purple sleeves does spring?
When you see her, you’ll adore her
If you’re dark, like our Jhudora.
Are you perfect? I am not—
(No Angelpuss am I, I fear)—
But any crimes I’ve done are gone,
Swept away with each long year,
Quite passed—like hers—and long forgot—
But still—my heart—it’s drawn to her:
my green and purple saboteur.
My sibling pets all think me strange,
They look at her and think: ‘Deranged!’—
‘She’s villainous,’ they cry, ‘aloof!’—
To them I say: ‘Where is your proof?’
They say Illusen saw her doing
Something which should not be done;
To that I say, ‘Why trust a fairy
who spends her days in glades and sun?’
I trust one who loves the Night,
The darker shades of Life and Sin,
She is the one who knows the truth;
Her I believe; she is my kin.
She is noble; cryptic; high;
She has a smoulder in her eye—
Around her throat a green gem burns
For dark powers she so yearns—
Behind the scenes, she pulls a string
And brings wild magic to everything!
Soon she’ll reach famed Meridell,
and conquer Altador as well!
I know that I am but a pet,
And I am not quite privy yet
To her castle on the Bluff—
Those haunting walls! so tall! so tough!—
But if a quester I’m to be,
I’ll be like her, my Dark Faerie.
I know not how I came to be
Devoted quite so loyally—
Was it of my own free will?
Or was it something darker still?
When you see her, you’ll adore her
If you’re dark, like our Jhudora.
