can surely give you a fright!
Never fear however it may be!
A Lupe in the night sings their song to thee!
The songs they sing are tradition you know!
To gather under the moon is their place to go!

A call to their brother and sisters to celebrate!
Lupe Day has arrived, it’s gonna be great!
They will frolic and play, dance and sing!
Until the Leaders arrive to present a new thing!

What colour will they be aren’t you dying to know?
So many options how will it go?
Mosaic, Oil paint, Elderly, or toy?
Steampunk, Polkadot, or Relic? Think of the joy!

Whatever the colour maybe,
A new Lupe is fine with me! 
So join in the singing, joy and the fun!
Because the Lupe Day festivities have begun!

So to you dear Neopian, I bid you farewell!
I am a Lupe fan if you could tell!
My pack calls to me to join in the song.

The Legend of the Lupe who Became a king

The story of King Altador is marked by valiance; 
The city where he lived was run by a shady ruler.
He left that place together with other residents
And he soon discovered he was a great hunter.

This young Lupe was so talented in throwing 
Arrows, that he became well-known quickly.
He travelled a lot before becoming a King,
Until he discovered a fertile plain near the sea.

Altador wanted to find other heroes who shared 
His dream: living in a city of honesty and value.
He met eleven of them, and a council they chaired.
The city was built by hand, and in virtue it grew.

But something happened that devastated Altador;
One of the heroes, the Darkest Faerie, betrayed
The Council: she wanted to rule alone evermore.
She could be defeated thanks to Queen Fyora’s aid.

The King kept governing the glorious city he founded
With ten allies by his side, in times of peace and war.
He would protect his people even with his own blood;
The whole Neopia admires his valour and wisdom from afar.

Let’s celebrate the white-bearded King on this day,
And share his epic deeds, because it’s Lupe Day!

The Lupe Pack

Pairs of eyes a’glowing
In the inky forest depths
Watching, waiting, knowing

Warm clouds of breath rise up and up
Into the dark sky, snowing
A glimpse of fur against the night
Nearby the river flowing

Careful pawprints in the earth
Follow where they are going
Eerie howls pierce through the air
Just like the cold wind blowing

Flitting in and out of sight
Amongst the thick trees growing
Beware, the Lupe pack on the prowl
Their hungry teeth are showing!

Name once Sylva, now silver and spectral too
Steer clear if you know what’s good for you!

Is this a true though, after all?
To save his bride and answer her call
This brave Lupe was prepared to fall
At Mystery Island’s seashore wall

But don’t be so sure of this mysterious breed
One day a healer, a friend, a warning to heed,
The next moment, your pets cower indeed
As he decides on which to feed…

I suppose we will never know
Is he a friend or is he a foe?

Altador Cup Lupe

That time of year is coming 'round
The Cup's not far away
Which means Roo Island's favourite Lupe
Is preparing to join the fray

Though "Squeaky" began with Brightvale fame
a Captain of great renown
His morals made him turn away
Foul tactics caused Tressif's frown

Though Brightvale cleaned up its act
(Thanks to his help, we're sure)
He found a home with Roo Island's team
And a future more secure

His skills remained beyond compare
He even made up a trick!
What other Yooyuball player
Can say they invented a special kick?

So as the Altador Cup returns
No matter what team you cheer
Remember to stop and tip your hat
To this Lupe- Good Guy of the Year

Little Electric Lupe

He's small yet so striking,
With eyes full of lightning,
Come look at my Neopet!

He'll grow up strong,
But it's hardly wrong,
Not being so tall yet.

Little Lupe you're so cute,
And sweet as summer fruit,
The kindest I've ever met.

Electric blue suits you,
So see, it's nothing new,
You're a Lupe nobody could forget!

Your fur may zip and zap me,
That's okay, I'm patient you see,
You were in the pound,
And I saw that you frowned,

The Tyrannian Lupe Gives Chase

On Tyrannian planes paws thunder,
the arid earth in clouds of dust rising
beneath them. 
Above, the sweltering sun suspended,
drenching thick furs in heat —
heavy chest rising, the Lupe howls,
greets the new day.

Shadowed fur in tufts of grey quiver
as ragged breaths resume,
racing across the planes.
Curved tusks flashing, the Lupe circles
in Tyrannia deep, the lair of the beast.
At cave’s gnawing lips, the Lupe waits;
within, a rumble, a roar, and prey escapes.

The Lupe gives chase.
Ground-eating leaps behind her prey,
the Lupe surges, scavenges with haste
a petpet driven from the beast’s cave,
a straggler from the pack, 
a tasty, morning snack.

Teeth cleaned, and jaws done snapping,
the Tyrannian Lupe, parched, lays languid
by the oasis clear, lapping water,
rises, paws stretching, flashing canines
in a yawn.
She naps under Tyrannian sun.

My Dear Baby Lupe

Bringing home a cute Baby Lupe,
Who knew what a joy it would be. 
Soft and bright periwinkle fur,
Red bandana, and a fierce pose
With eyes of curiosity,
You eagerly take on the world.

Prancing around in the vast fields,
Chasing after Chias and treats.
Energetic bursts unrivalled,
As we attempt to seize the day.
When the sunset rays land, you rest
Basking in the eventide light.

How will you be when you are grown?
Unwavering like strong Jeran?
Or wise like mighty Altador?
Will you venture to unknown lands,
Or as Lupes' loyalty decrees,
Would you still remain here with me?

I will cherish these times with you,
My darling, precious Baby Lupe.
The playful friendship that we share,
Forge our beautiful memories.
Although time's passing may change us,
Our strong bond will never waver.

Balthazar’s Favourite Pastime

There is a big blue Lupe,
Who is always on the hunt.
Once scorned by faeries,
Now he’s petty to be blunt.

His name is Balthazar,
And bounty hunting is his game.
To capture those faeries,
That once put him to shame.

Air, Dark, Water, Earth, Fire, Light,
He’s out to catch them all.
Placing them into tiny bottles,
Looking for a big haul.

If capturing faeries wasn’t enough,
He’ll also eat your petpets.
It will assuredly give you,
Horrifying night sweats.

Steer clear of this nasty Lupe,
Up to nothing but trouble.
If you see him come your way,
Get out of there on the double!
