Yawning, I keep walking by
The Wheel of Mediocrity.
Under the Tyrannian sky
This game's a big hypocrite!

The odds are strong against you
With danger all around.
50 points to get back 2!
It's hardly worth the ground.

The Wheel is old and rusty
And rigged, as you can see.
The platform's red and krusty
And the heat, the heat, the heat!
But the Wheel is not that bad.
I've won some times before.
In fact, I think it's rad!
I've won PetPets and food galore!

But take my warning, to be safe
And you'll maybe win.
So step right up, do not quake,
And give that Wheel a spin!

An Unusual War Hero By Brotherthor

How can I explain to my pet
that his veterinarian
is also a war vet?

Since the Tyrannian War of 2001
his veterinarian carries a small rainbow gun
and sometimes has
a small shield slung over his back
as well as a forest sling
inside his knapsack.

Dr. Peacemaker is
a very fine veterinarian.
Why, he practically
single-handedly
wiped out Neopox.
When your pets were losing hitpoints
one veterinarian was busily
healing the fallen warriors.

No, Dr. Peacemaker
did not slay any Skeiths.
Nor did he attack
any other unpleasant beasts.
He served as Tyrannia's
Chief Veterinarian
dispensing Healing Potions
which Kauvara was selling very cheap.

Remember the brave deeds
of Dr. Peacemaker
when you tell the tale
of the victory at the Battle of Tyrannia.
With Dr. Sloth rumored to be near
(*zap* Sloth's ray gun
just made another pile of sludge)
remember, if trouble breaks out,
Dr. Peacemaker is also here.

The Sad Tale of Mika and Carassa...

Gosh it's cold, so very cold,
Would you like a cup of tea?
I'm Mika, she's Carassa
And we're a happy family.
We live on Terror Mountain,
Have for quite some time.
But it's getting a bit chilly here
And the weather ain't so fine!
We really love our mountain igloo,
It's been our only home.
Except the only problem is,
We're frozen to the bone!
We want to move away now
To somewhere nice and hot,
But we have so much junk here
That we need to sell the lot!
That's why we're in the igloo here,
Selling items large and small.
'Cause if it all just does not go,
We cannot move at all!
So when you're up the mountain next,
Be sure to pay a stop
At our cosy little igloo home,
Which we like to call a shop!

Staring at me
hesitantly
I can see
so easily
my poor Flotsam
hungry as he
could possibly be.
Wanting a bit of
apple to share
any food
from anywhere.
So as I find
that poetry
is calling my name
so quietly
and so I find

can share my gift
and simply try
to get some coins
to feed my pet
and I sincerely hope

I've finally made it
To the Mystery Isle;
Jump off the boat
I'll be a while.

The Trading Post
Is stocked so full!
Hoards of people
They push and pull.

Rare items, magic,
And books to swap.
My eyes grow round,
My feet do stop.

What's this here?
A jewelled sword!
There's truly treasure
Within this hoard!

The sights and sounds
Make the room spin quick.
So many things,
What do I pick?

Where is my pet,
My beloved friend?
Just down the row,
The booth at the end.

The cutest thing,
A ball of fluff!
A new Petpet
I'm sure enough.

My pet looks up
Its heart is set
Do we have enough
For trading yet?

I open my bag
There's items to barter.
The owner is quick
But I think I'm smarter!

We start the trade
The going's slow.
But we finally leave
The Petpet in tow!

My pet is happy
With what had transpired
And we go home
All very tired!
