and we got alot of loot!
So only half of us wear a grin.

I looked out over
The battle not yet won.
My wrath was great
My plunder and attacks not yet done.
I could command
The greatest Grundo Warrior band
To go and leave everything a wreck
In that happy, Neopian land.
Things were looking up
There was no way I could lose.
To be defeated by that pudgy penguin
I would completely REFUSE!

Waltzes up to me
I shan't let him win, it's plain to see!
He takes out that "lucky coin"

I take out a ray gun and aim.
If I conquer him and his friends
Among all evil would I score much fame!

Then my gun was knocked away,

Then Brucey B charges and hits me
My only thought as I spun into the air was, "Whoopee!
I'd lost."
I found that without my Grundo men
I was vulnerable
"Drat," I thought, "Dr. Sloth was foiled again!"

I run my fastest,
But still get beat.
I land on my head,
When I should be on my feet.
I try to move forward
But I am stuck in rewind.
Why do I keep at it?
I won't be left behind.

The other Poogles run,
They pass me in a rush
I try to keep up
The harder I fall
The faster I rise
I give it my all,
And thats all that counts
In first place,
Myself I seldom find.
So I push to the limit

Some say don't bother
Some simply give up
I reply, I won't
The power is here,
Locked away in my mind.
My perseverence is my excellence

As I step into the tomb
I fall right to the ground,
Not knowing where I should go next
I am soon to be found.
A mummy stares straight back at me
And I wonder what they think,
What will happen if I move
Or even take one blink?
I duck down low
And I shiver and shake,
That fire above my head
Will make me bake!
It finally stops
And I look around,
What's that noise...
What is that sound?
I don't take my time,
Not a moment to spare,
As I reach for the gold,
I move with care.
One step forward and it'll be
Game over for me,
I reach for the door,
But I can't find the key.
I turn around
As I can hear something coming,
Is it the ghost of the Sakhmet king?
It comes closer and now I can see,
It is a skull coming towards me!
I have nowhere that I can go,
I guess I was a bit too slow!

She was in the kitchen,
Poisoning the soup,
While unknowingly
The guests all chatted about,
Discussing the latest Sakhmet scoop!

The dreadful little teenager,
Scurried to the table,
Awaiting the fateful dinner chime,
Where Coltzan would become unavailable.

Six chairs lined the room,
Each with a delicious course,
Waiting for the dinner guests,
Who sat without remorse.

Their manners were annoying,
The King out of his mind,
He didn't appreciate,
The way were so unkind.

With one spoon in his hand,
He scooped up his last meal,
And his final gulp of soup,
Would sign his death deal.

He croaked his final words,
As he fell to the ground,
"I heard you sniffing in the kitchen,
You were making quite a sound..."

And quietly he slipped away,
While all the guests circled,
And a faint chuckle was heard,
From the depths of Princess Sankara.
