I Am Neopian By volcanica_kougra

Here's to you, Neopia.
Here's to your Uni's hair,
Pets painted with Flair,
And your Multi-colored Nerkmids.
Here's to your Super toy boats,
Your Potions and Motes,
And to filling our Auctions with bids.
Here's to the the High-score pay,
The Secret Lab Ray,
And the Faeries that fly so free.
Here's to different creatures,
With different features,
That love this place,
Like me.
But most of all,
Here's to standing tall,
And being proud of the place, so utopian.
I love my pets, I love this game,
and I AM NEOPIAN!

The Snowager By keroberosclow

I sneak into
The ice covered cave.
I tiptoe,
To the glistening wave.

The wave of power the Snowager holds,
Which thrives on greed upon its soul.

Underneath the writhing mess,
A hoard,
Of treasure it does posess.

I move closer,
Just to see,
Another eye staring back at me.

It rises up,
With a deafening roar,
Shaking the cave to the very core.

The core of my heart,
Frozen solid.
I run out of the cave...

Just to wake up as a dream.
(Must have been that broccoli)

Rejected Again By sachadaisy

Rejected again
By the cruel,
And unjust owners of Neopia
Rejected again
I thought she loved me
My owner
She showered me
With toys and food
But I've wondered
As I sit
Withering away in my dark cage
I realize
My owner never did love me
She never kissed me goodnight
Or read me a story
I remember my friends
Telling me all about how their owners
Spent their last Neopoints
To treat them to a day at the carnival
I wish my owner loved me
But I am rejected
Rejected again

Neopia's Best Kept Secret! By saz_97

There is a secret in Neopia
Most people might not know
The only pet that knows it
Is the pet without no toes

It could be the Jetsam
But a problem has arised
It's memory was wiped out
By Neopia's number one spies

The spies who had the secret
Lost it playing Hide and Seek
To our flower picking friend
The adorable Kacheek

The Kacheek's memory was awful
And forgot the secret, too
He'd found it and then lost it
But passed it on to King Roo

The Dice-A-Roo king
Couldn't keep a secret
And told so many pets
Some fainted with excitement
I'd had to phone the vet

I'd better tell you quickly
I should've told you sooner
It's a new pet called the Pteri
And I assure you it's no rumour!

Just Like Me By tse2000

In this very room,
Is a Chia,
His face so deformed,
You've got to admit he's deprived of love,
It seems like devils have stolen his soul,

His face,
The ugliest you'll ever seen,
Green and brown,
With marks that shouldn't be there,
But you've never heard his story...

It was two years ago,
When he was so grand,
His owner loved him so,
At least that's what he thought...

He remembered being tested,
With the deadliest Potions alive!
From this to that,
Until his owner could afford no more,
And left him there to rot.

He thought he could make friends,
To pass the time,
But everywhere he went,
Others would flee!

"Why?" He would say,
As he looked in the mirror,
And gave a shrill scream,
Look at his face!
Look at his hands!
All green and brown,
As if he had rot,
His eyes... his eyes!
Where it had used to be Ebony Black...
Red!

How could his owner bear to do this?
How could he?
As the Chia touched his face,
He knew he had been changed,
He was a mutant.

He begged and begged,
"More potions please!"
"Oh, I need to change...!"
"I can't stand this!"
His owner refused,
And turned away...
He left him for adoption,
But even the clerk refused...
"How could you expect me
To look at that thing?"
The clerk would scream.
"Throw him out! O...U...T OUT!"

Then that night,
As the Chia cried,
On the street alone,
He crawled along,
Seeking for shelter,
Until he found an abandoned house.

Just like me...
The house used to be beautiful too,
But now it's burnt,
And left alone,
Just like me...

Just like me...
