Jhudora Day Special
Jhudora's Lair
by honorrolle
Aubergine smoke curls around weightless clouds,
Menacing full but void, wickedness erupts,
A haunting electric lime emerges out of the haze,
Enveloped in evil and dripping with malice, Jhudora, beholden.
Calculating eyes rest on a far away scheme,
Unreachable plans are plotted while casually filing long, pointed nails.
An annoyance tears across the dark faerie’s face as if trying to claw out,
Posture board-straight with mixed resolution and fury.
Around her magnificently foul and elegantly villainous lair,
Hidden beyond the vision of even the most keen sighted pet,
Minions lurk just out of sight, in the blackest of voids,
Ominously skulking in dastardly deeds and malevolent treachery.
Purposefully and with sinister power, the dark faerie herself steps out,
Presence challenging all pets with even the thought of entering the abode.
“You’ve finished Quest 1. Come back tomorrow or I’ll turn you into a Bletchy.”
Sauntering voice cackles with menace as your legs discover new vigour, departing the lair of Jhudora.

Jhudora the Dark Faerie Doll
by precious_katuch14
Nestled in the Hidden Tower,
Amidst artifacts of power,
Quiescent in a glass case,
Near Skarl's Hasty Mace.
Expensive, like other wares,
Can't find her just anywhere.
Everyone's favorite dark faerie
Now small and easy to carry!
An intense, purple stare,
Flowing, matching hair.
Leathery, lifelike wings,
Standing, waiting...watching.
Her eyes don't glow,
Not like the Fyora doll, no.
She's not bright and pink,
Wait, did she just blink?
Fyora shrugs at the doll,
As within her tower she strolls.
"It's just a toy," she says,
Putting the matter to rest.
Yet she glances away, hesitates,
"It's nothing, I mustn't be late."
The Queen leaves, you want to follow,
And leave that doll of Jhudora.
But that intense purple stare
Seems to deepen into a glare.
The wings twitch in the breeze
Giving you a sense of unease.
"It's just a toy," you say,
Yet you try to quickly move away,
From the mystery, from the thrall,
Of Jhudora the Dark Faerie Doll.

Jhudora, the Clever
by hiasaki
Jhudora, the clever, the bold, and the tricky;
she’s always quite busy with her plots.
Jhudora, the bold, conniving, and calculated,
it is she who’s calling all the shots.
Perhaps you’ve not heard of her wicked ways,
for her plans are quiet and devious.
However–behind every chaotic Neopian day–
is a dark faerie most mischievous.
Only soft whispers tell tales of her deeds,
for the fear of her wrath runs deep.
It’s ill-advised to let your curiosity abound,
lest the answers disturb your sleep.
Jhudora has many minions all around
and even recruits Neopians like you.
Though the prizes she offers can be tempting,
it’s best to steer clear of her crew.
Next time you see a dark, ominous cloud,
rest assured chaos will follow close by.
Stay on the side of vigilance and caution
and always keep an eye on the sky.

Jhudora's Troubling Logic
by frankie8492
One of the most controversial faeries is Jhudora.
No one knows her motives, but she has an evil aura.
Rumours claim that none of the other faeries like her,
But she has never been caught doing misdeeds, that's for sure.
People only have suspicions of a plethora.
Despite all that, to her home, questers go toward,
Because completing her quests can yield a good reward.
No one stops to think about what she is making,
Or if this is a path they should be taking.
They could very well be pawns on her chessboard.
Jhudora says, "Lots of people dislike me, you see.
They often call me wicked, don't you agree?
I am not going to get overly analytical,
But people still help me and isn't that hypocritical?
How can they say they are any better than me?"

Atop The Bluff
by valethra
Past the lights and lush of Faerieland there sits a hilltop, wretched
She waits there like a prisoner and watches: cold, dejected.
“Never venture there”, they’ve said, yet you dare the unexpected:
Not once, but twice. You now return to gift what you’ve collected.
Quite a wasteful trek, you think, to wander into dark unknown
To challenge maiden mischief sitting lonely on a crooked throne
For what, indeed— a bauble or bottle? Why work yourself to bone?
The choice not yours, of course, but still. A trek that you must make alone.
“For you.” Your voice breaks silence and she greets you with a fearsome sneer.
You try to think of gold instead, of what you’ll gain for facing fear.
She studies the prize, suspicious eyes; you watch, careful not to leer
At last, a haughty grin. She laughs! “It seems you’ve done quite well, my dear.”
A slight, you know— it’s in her voice. Your guard is not so quick to fall.
Jhudora speaks in half-truths meant to lull you with a charming drawl.
She prepares a scroll as payment, written hasty in her wicked scrawl.
You flee on tired legs and wonder: how many heed her wicked call?
Free of dark, you sigh, you shiver. Gold: it will not ease your dreams.
You cannot claim to understand what her vague commandment means
But, perhaps, it’s true this time— they say that nothing’s as it seems.
You ponder this as you descend, a puzzled face lit by moonbeams:
What use is an Illusen lunchbox in Jhudora’s wicked schemes?

Jhudora Day, Rescheduled
by miraday
The foot traffic to Jhudora’s Bluff
Remained the same like other days.
The occasional Neopet in a rush
Skated up the icy path without delay.
From her landing, Jhudora looked
Over Faerie City powdered in snow.
“I wonder if they’ve all forgotten,
Nothing indicates they even know.”
February Fourth sometimes passes
Without Jhudora’s Day in her attention.
But this year felt different. This time,
She wished for a little recognition.
“Do you know what today is?” she asked
The next quest-goer who nervously helped.
“Uh, Friday?” the bundled Blue Pteri peeped.
“Ugh. Yeah, you’re right. Nothing else.”
How could they? Faeries and Neopets alike,
They could dislike her yearlong, but at least
Muster up a little effort to show they care!
“It’s fine,” she muttered, trying to make peace.
Jhudora grumbled as she called the day early.
As she whisked her hands to close up her home,
Her obedient door resisted her commands.
“What’s this?” she spat, when she saw the note.
Taped to her door was a handwritten message:
“Happy Jhudora Day, to our favorite dark Faerie!
The snow ruined the party we planned for you—
Let’s reschedule when there’s less flurries!”
Surely it wasn’t Jhudora’s tears on the letter;
“Snowflakes, I’m sure of it,” she told herself.
Jhudora folded up the note and held it close.
“Well, my resentment shall also be rescheduled!”

Just For Jhudora
by paintedl0ve
She wears purple
mixed with green
this faerie knows how
to make a scene
Jhudora may be feared
when she's impatient
so do not ever
bother with nonsense
If you do so dare
complete a quest
just for Jhudora
you will be blessed
(it's her ultimate test)
When you're in battle
her given weapons help
you need their power
in the Dome by yourself
although it helps, too,
if you're a bit mean
just like Jhudora
faerie in ferocious purple
and mighty green
No need to fear her
all faeries are fair
and Jhudora seems evil
but really does care
for the most fearful and
weakest of Neopets
so just for Jhudora, today,
go on one of her quests!

I am Jhudora
by amplificationsseasy
You may say that I am wickedly bad
But you all are just pathetically sad
That you will not wield the power of me
That is I, Jhudora the dark Faerie
I'm smarter than the Lenny Wizard
I'm more powerful than Fyora
I can take over all of Neopia
And purple clouds will cover the whole area!
Anyway, My hair is purple with a streak of green
Not like Illusen's green, it is so eek!
My choker and my nails are as precious as Emerald
And I have wings to see you assemble
For my quests of a level so extreme
The price is high, or so it may seem
The rewards are enormous, better than Illusen's
And when you lose my quest, you better hasten
If you escape you go back to level one
Or if you advance you can earn a ton
If you make it through you will earn a weapon
Which is the best one you can get and there isn't a second
You all know that I give Faerieland the visitors
And yes, I am not a lonely prisoner
To Fyora and her army of Faeries
Who just seem to eat some Jumbleberries
This isn't a plea nor a song of justice
This isn't some ode for myself
I don't need one, I really don't
For I am Jhudora, make a really good note
(A_Kacheek overheard Jhudora reciting this while making one of her mystery potions)

To Jhudora, From Illusen
by dudeiloled
She flies in beauty, across the scene
Of Neopian worlds, day and night;
And all that’s best of purple and green
Join together to produce an electric sight;
In confidence for all to be seen,
Which many misinterpret and flee in fright.
One quest for her, one quest for me
One in Faerieland, one in Meridell
In our separation we yearn to be free
But when the evening comes, out we fly of our cell
What joy, to see her face, a gift for free
How wonderful, how magical, until our farewell.
And on her face, her person, dazzling style,
So sharp, so wise, yet full of love,
The whispering voice, gentle for a while,
As we spend our time soaring far above,
A heart at whose love brings me a smile,
Together our hands meet, fitting as a glove.

Jhudora! The One True Queen
by n0dnarbs5
Upon a purple poof! of haze
The queen arrives and meets my gaze
Her icy side eye glare!
Look away! I dare not stare.
Her penetrating scowl
My soul it pierced
My thoughts
invaded and exposed
A longing for her presence
Like a thirst unquenched
My heart she crushed
With much disgust
A queen like no other
Deserves not one's trust
Beware her pet Bartamus
is on the prowl.
It was not he
but she that growls.
Another day
Another year
Another birthday one must fear.
If she only knew
The minions she has
Neopia,
Tell her story once and for all
She pretends not to care
But secretly desires all of
Neopia to bow and grovel
And all pay homage
To the one true Queen.
Jhudora! Jhudora!
Your day has come.
In an instant
She turns to leave
Stops dead in her tracks
Looks back
Gaaaah!
And wouldn't you know it
Misunderstood indeed
She half smiles
And departs from the scene.
So happy birthday come February 4.
Jhudora! Jhudora!
Your majesty! My queen.
