Xweetok Day Special

The Great Xweetok Hug
by maculose

Deep in Neopia lives a pleasant pet.
If you are sad or unhappy, please do not fret.
There is a simple solution to those ordeals.
It is definitely not fake and is really quite real.

This pet is a Xweetok with really soft fur.
She combs and brushes it as she will purr.
So back to the sadness that many can get.
The solution is this pet that many admit.

This Xweetok searches for those that are sad.
She has a trick that makes them quite glad.
With her fur so soft and elegantly blue,
She gives them a hug that is real and true.

Suddenly their sadness is lifted away,
So they go on with their day and begin to play.
The Xweetok asks for nothing in return.
She just likes to help and relieve their concerns.

After she finishes her day she returns to her home.
She is even happier after she had a great roam.
Helping others makes her real proud.
She even gets hugs which she will always allow.

Xweetok the Forest Dweller
by allisonh1220

Mohawk hair,
Big thick mane.
My love for Xweetok,
Can't be tamed.

The softest fur,
Little forest dweller,
Their calm demeanour
Is interstellar.

They'll hide and play,
They run so fast.
Play tag with them,
You'll have a blast.

They'll fall asleep,
In the roots of trees.
Want to join?
Just say please!

They're cute, they're fun,
They love to play.
So let's celebrate,
Xweetok Day!

Hope for a Lonely Mutant Xweetok
by _brainchild_

Rats, no one will adopt me. Why?
I feel like I am going to cry.
I am a Mutant Xweetok, and
Onlookers find me not-so-grand.

Why, maybe it's my toothy smile
Or notched ears, which they all find vile.
My rat tail must repulse them so!
I feel so helpless, this I know.

A nasty lab zap made me Mutant.
My owner, with horrid intent,
Tossed me into this nasty pound!
I hope a home for me is found.

I cry, because I'll never find---
What's that? A person oh so kind
Adopted me?! I cheer with glee!
I'm done with this pound oh so beastly.

The Sorceress
by black_skull725

Over to Faerieland was where I went,
It was the place sorcerers were sent,
Under the faeries, I studied magic,
However, what I found was rather tragic.

In times that mattered, they kept to themselves,
In places they were needed, they bid farewells,
The Queen was informed that this was wrong,
However, her opinions were much too strong.

I left that wretched land, with my tomes,
Happened upon a building where I could roam,
Over many years, I concocted a plot,
To exact my revenge on this selfish lot.

To stone they turned, those isolated fools,
Time for Neopets to re-establish their rule,
A pity others didn’t see it that way,
Their pesky meddling ruined my play.

Lo and behold, I crashed their land,
However, the darkness began to expand,
It was then I realized my mistake,
But I kept on fighting for my sake.

To stone I turned, for my unsavoury feat,
The fae returned, sending darkness into retreat,
Returning to their land, they declared,
That they would now be neighbours who cared.

Meanwhile, the Queen watches over my fate,
A Speckled Xweetok for her to rehabilitate,
But to this day, I sit in stone,
For my misdeeds, I must atone.

Woodland Dasher
by bittersweet52

Our Woodland Dasher is a Xweetok fair
Of handsomeness he has his share
He's lived in these forests for years untold
Watching Neopia as it unfolds

Typically this Xweetok sports fur of brown
The better to camouflage as he moves around
With accents of tan and a splash of teal
His aesthetics have some special appeal

But this year it's time to celebrate
It's a big milestone, we're all in a state
The big two-five, can you believe?
And so a new colour it's time to receive

Gone is the brown, now we have tangerine
With a ruff, and mane, and tail stripe of green
We're sporting new wings of gold and pink
I quite like it, what do you think?

Poor little Bitter the Blobikins though
Still a prickly cactus, she's not in the know
There's no celebratory paint available for her
So Woodland she stays, her classic colour

But we still love her, and the flower on her head
The pink petals and gold centre are really well met
They match with the balloons down by Dasher's feet
A serendipitous occasion that turned out quite sweet

The Xweetok Within
by 9kas

“Look at that Xweetok, see how she weeps!”
Whispers I hear from those I don’t know.
But does my appearance demand that I
Must be filled with sadness and sorrow?

Ashen, steely, matte grey exterior,
Monochromatic like Neopia’s woe.
But even within Naia’s magical fountain,
Grey hues flourish as part of the rainbow.

Troubled, weary, heavy dark eyes,
Teardrops I hide, yet subtly glimmering.
But just like Baelia’s concealed past,
Deep down within is light emanating.

Limp, listless, droopy grey ears,
Just like the Discarded Blue Grundo Plushie.
But like how the Plushie gives gifts with love,
I love to give gifts of joyful company.

Flaccid, floppy, dejectedly curled tail,
Lying on the cold ground in surrender.
But like a Moehug that embraces so tightly,
My tail wraps you warmly through the winter.

“Look at that Xweetok, see how she weeps!”
Of course - I am a Nostalgic Grey Xwee.
But I hope you’ll see that beneath my exterior
Is how joyfully life-giving I can truly be.

Bird of a Fairweather
by tylerhuyser

Like birds of a feather,
We Fairweathers need to stick together.
Uncle, like you, I have an appetite for discovery,
And sometimes our curiosity takes us southerly…

I’ll never forget our disastrous expedition,
To the Lost Isle—we were blinded by ambition!
Just a few short notes in Mad Tongue Murphy’s journal,
Sent us on a journey that was almost our funeral!

We faced wild Petpetpets that were larger than life,
And a sea of confusion (you should’ve seen my strife!).
Your compass went haywire, our map was a mess,
But you laughed and proclaimed, “What’s adventure without stress?”

Through mud pits and quicksand, we stumbled and slipped,
While dodging giant rocks that you nervously gripped.
Yet we pressed on, fuelled by our shared zeal,
Daring explorers with the best kind of appeal.

I must say, even though we ran into terrifyingly big Petpetpets,
I have absolutely no regrets, regrets, regrets.
Here’s to us, Uncle, and all that we’ve weathered.
Storms and adventures, we’re ‘birds of a Fairweather’!

Xweetok! Xweetok!
by lachtaube

You squawk a lot of chatter-talk.
- Xweetok! Xweetok!
So fluffy, crafty, scurried: scrafty!
- Xweetok! Xweetok!

Running round and up and down,
When all we want is peace!

We gawk, aghast, your frantic walk.
- Xweetok! Xweetok!
So quick and bouncy, hurried, flouncy!
- Xweetok! Xweetok!

Where's the fire? Why the race?
What's up with your frenetic pace?

You can't explain, "No time" you shout?
Come on Xweetok, spit it out!

Fall is done, and Winter's near?
- Xweetok! Xweetok!
The day of reckoning is here!

Hurry, get the Xweetok snacks,
the Xweetok robes, the cozy hats;
The presents and Xweetok Soup,
Xwee've so much left to do!

Xandra, The Speckled Xweetok Scholar
by fivemilliononly

There was once a famous Xweetok
Xandra was always eager to learn
The library had not enough books in stock
for the knowledge she wished to earn

She studied under Queen Fyora diligently
to become the Queen's most powerful student
However, she kept something hidden silently
A secret that none of us had learned

Deep down inside, she had a dream
to take over Neopia from the Faeries ruling
She turned some faeries to stone, it would seem
and that was only the beginning

Speckled Xweetok Scholar is her nickname
and it was earned for a reason
With her tricks, she played the game
outwitting everyone with skill and precision

She was also a magician, so powerful
bringing Faerieland down with her own magic
Her will was fierce and masterful
but in the end, her fate was tragic

She was eventually defeated by Hanso
petrified by her own power in the final fight
This freed the Faeries from her curse, and so
everything was turned back right

But is that really the end of it?
There is a rumour taking flight
questioning the motive behind her wit
What if she was right?

Lilian's Ambition
by togepwi

Science is the key!
There's always more than meets the eye!
That is the philosophy
Lilian and her father live by

She's always been a curious one
So you can find Lilian at the library
Hunting for clues is her fun
She'll grab as many books as she can carry!

Lately she longs to travel
To a rumoured island of beasts
She senses a mystery to unravel
So now Lilian is heading east!

The young Xweetok loves the opportunity
She looks forward to researching together
She'll be recognized by the scientific community
As the one and only Lilian Fairweather!

Xandra Had A Point (even if I disagree with her methods)
by dennykins

Currently, it’s widely held,
That Xandra’s a bad egg.
We all recall those times she yelled,
Caused chaos on the reg.

This speckled Xweetok lied and hid,
Plotting against the crown.
Until one day, she finally did
Bring Faeries tumbling down.

Don’t get me wrong, I know it’s bad,
To crash a whole city.
That no one was hurt, I’m always glad:
The whole thing’s a pity.

And raising wraiths was also crook,
Everyone had to fight.
But if those few deeds, I overlook,
I think Xandra was right.

Fyora doesn’t need to keep,
Fingers in every pie.
Just take a break, and get some sleep,
Without you, we’ll get by.

The faeries, they are everywhere,
Flaunting their wing-ed clout.
Events without them now feel rare,
So, sit a couple out?

For saying this (and evil deeds)
Xandra’s now turned to stone.
But perhaps it’s true Neopia needs,
More pets upon its thrones.

The Un-Valentines Xweetok Plushie
by precious_katuch14

It's a happy Xweetok Day,
For all the Xweetoks I see,
Except for one -
The Un-Valentines Xweetok Plushie.

It has downcast, pleading eyes,
It's more than a little teary,
Oh, the tear stains it sports,
The Un-Valentines Xweetok Plushie.

And look at its face!
It seems to be saying sorry!
With its mouth turned down,
The Un-Valentines Xweetok Plushie.

It's painted gloomy grey,
With ears and tail all droopy,
What a sight to behold,
The Un-Valentines Xweetok Plushie.

It holds up two halves,
Of a heart for all to see,
Who'll repair its broken heart,
The Un-Valentines Xweetok Plushie?

For this year's Xweetok Day,
I think I'll get a gift for me.
Give this sad plushie a home -
The Un-Valentines Xweetok Plushie.

The Mysterious Amateur Insider
by therainbowsheep

This Xweetok lurks in the shadows,
About her not much is known.
But one thing is quite certain -
She's found in the battle zone.

Key member of the Sway,
She has fought in the Obelisk War.
So secretive, she is nameless!
To anonymity, she has sworn.

Call her the Amateur Insider,
A nickname as good as any.
One look at her and one can tell,
The secrets she holds are many.

Her elegance is understated,
She has luscious, dark purple hair.
Paired with a flowing black dress,
She exudes a certain flair.

And what is in her purse?
Could it be a secret battle not?
We will never know,
The classified info she wrote.

Like all Xweetoks, she loves the chase,
And to hide within the trees.
Though we may try to find her,
For being secretive, she has the key!

An Ode to Lyra Xendrik
by i_lovee_icecream

Wielding scimitars,
In both of her hands.
Lyra Xendrik,
Is a warrior from arid lands.

A Red Xweetok,
With lavender blue fur.
She’s got spunk and skill,
She’s far from demure.

Daughter of Aymas,
Former Warden of the Lost Desert.
Don’t underestimate her power,
Or you’re sure to wind up hurt.

Lyra fled to Altador,
To escape her father.
He was an Eyrie so strict,
All he cared about was honour.

Nowadays, however,
She lives in an icy land.
The hills of Terror Mountain,
Is the land she commands.

A Shocking Little Xweetok
by dragonlord812

A shocking little Xweetok is electric blue.
Bolts of bright cyan, and the mane is too.
A tail very bushy; eyes of blue and black.
Riding the lightning with a zap and a clack.

Heralded by thunder, Xweetok of the storm.
Dancing past the strikes like it is the norm.
Coat of blue and cyan, shocking all to see.
Running though the jolts, born to be free.

An Electric Xweetok, charged head to toe.
Moving o'er the blasts, going with the flow.
Mane full of lightning, thunder in the eyes.
Beauty so strong it leads to many sighs.

A shocking little Xweetok, full of the spark.
Lights up any place, banishing the dark.
For this little Xweetok, the fun never ends;
Our Electric Xweetok has lots of friends.
