And she can make anything for you!
Cog is her name,
Inventing is her game,
And there is nothing she can't do!

At her shop Cog sells clothes,
To fit into the world she knows.
Her clothes can't be beat,
Even in Moltara's heat,
They're even worn by the pros!

Cog hasn't always been a success,
She has a past that very few could guess:
She scrounged in the junk,
For the most intact hunk,
And built something sure to impress!

So if need a mask for the smog,
Or some boots for a long slog,
By now you should know,
Just where you should go,
To the trusty inventor, Cog!

Kentari, the Weapons Handler

Neatly attired in his black helmet,
Red martial robes and silent shoes,
Kentari the Shoyru flits around his shop,
Giving advice on which weapon to choose.

The strength of a warrior does not solely depend
On the weapon he brings to the battlefield;
Yet a warrior is not strongest, he says,
Without a suitable weapon to wield.

For taller warriors, Kentari suggests
The Razumi Mace or Kazeriu Bow.
Littler warriors might find it easier
To hold a Hook Sword or throw a Shuko.

When he's not talking with customers
Or cleaning his wares; not checking his stock
Or keeping his books, Kentari reads
And writes poetry beneath an ornate clock.

He was a warrior once in the glory days,
And he returns there often in his dreams:
The feeling of riding the Cyodrake's Gaze,
Above the clouds, the arrows and streams.

One day, this wise old Shoyru knows,
The warriors could be called into action again.
In the meantime, he polishes his blades,
And teaches the young ones how to train.

The Story of Antikia Lighten

I’ll tell you the tale of a Purple Shoyru,
Hidden away in a forbidden forest.
Where she collects enchanted mushrooms,
But don’t call me an allegorist.

The tales of this Neopet are oh, so true;
An entrusted employee of the Faerie Queen.
She restocks Fyora’s private store of ‘shrooms,
A job that sounds like an ethereal dream.

Her name is Antikia Lighten,
And she climbs towering trees all day.
Collecting her mythical fungus,
As the sprites overhead perform a ballet.

She moves through the forbidden forest,
As it glows and hums with wonder.
Antikia travels back to Faerieland,
Shifting foliage asunder.

The Shoyru takes her woven basket,
With bountiful Health Shrooms in tow.
Granting the beautiful Queen Fyora,
Forest magic bestowed.

The Ever-fighting Elbin

Elbin Kroe furrows his brow, and readies his sight
They all realize it’s going to be a long-drawn fight
The Arena is full-packed and the smiles are all so bright
As the lights at the Arena finally are set alight

The spectators at the Arena were making an absolute furor 
And the players arriving to so much adore
Elbin himself, all coloured anew
Was not expecting such a warm welcome would do

Thinking of his first, replacing Selwick Phoss
He was once more expecting to show them who’s boss
The nerves were all draped across the faces of the audience
All the more feeding into his winning appetence

First sling of the ball, and the Arena roars out as the players start doing their thing
Both teams are both setting their tactics in swing
One can almost sense the intensity brewing

The first minute’s fair, both teams well prepared 
Scarcely either team make a big defensive blare
But Elbin Kroe knows how to put on a show
With a player in tow he edges the pitch, and burrows a shot as he’s turning the switch

The applause is all so well placed
Elbin Kroe by his own teammates is embraced
The opposition in panic as the damage has been dealt
The time sure is flying, the distraction is felt

Second minute almost over, what more can one do
The opposition akin to resigning all bidding their adieu
His ever-fighting spirit has made it all clear
Elbin Kroe’s presence is a present most fear

The match goes as it must, with a finite adjust
Elbin Kroe set his last gears well in thrust
None matching his tempo, that brings such a bite
As he slings the last Yooyu in the goal for the night

The uproar is immediate, they cheer for the fight
And in midst of it all, Elbin Kroe stands, the hero alright!

An Act of Dorian's Kindness

Years ago I had a dream,
to dine somewhere so extreme;
Many Neopoints I scraped and saved
for the food at Kelp in which I craved.

When it came time to buy my meal
I took flight to Maraqua with great zeal;
Til I heard the news of my dearest friend,
Lietta was sick with no money to spend.

Achy Head had gripped her tight,
In pain, she suffered day and night.
Neopoints meant for lavish food,
suddenly seemed trivial, even rude.

So I made haste to the Pharmacy,
a Shoyru with newfound urgency;
There I bought Magic Goop instead,
to cure Lietta of her Achy Head.

I brought to her that healer’s balm,
which itself brought her a soothing calm;
She greeted me with her smile so bright
and my Shoyru heart filled with delight.

I gave up on what I most yearned,
And in that moment I then learned-
The act of true friendship shown,
was the most valuable thing we could ever own.

Coffee Shopkeeper Shoyru

Each morning I enter the Coffee Cave,
Energy low, but hopes set high -
To drink the finest cup of coffee,
That Neopoints can buy!

The Shopkeeper's greeting is bright,
She is positively beaming.
Within minutes I clutch a mug,
That is absolutely steaming.

"The best coffee in Neopia!" She insists.
I have to say, I agree.
Everything here is delectable,
Even the selection of tea!

A true Shoyru, she is friendly - 
Warm And adores her customers.
For us, she's working on a new menu -
Fun iced drinks this upcoming summer!

The most consistent part of my morning,
The Coffee Shopkeeper is always there.
Perfecting all her coffee drinks,
With a unique flavourful flair!

We count on her for caffeine,
That needed boost in our days.
I adore the Coffee Shopkeeper,
On this, I will not sway!

Treasure Hunting with Kelby

My Shoyru fins are great for any deeper dive
Searching this sunken ship is how we thrive
Being here with my Jubjub friends - it's a pleasure!

I'll go first to see what's over there
Wow! There's a lot of goodies to share!
Wait! My friends are getting swept by the water!
I have to save them but I'll need a spotter!

Please help me save my friends!
It's practically raining Jubjubs today!
I think we can blow some bubbles and lead them this way
But make sure to be careful at the ends!

I'm so grateful that everyone is safe and unhurt

We have a lot of dubloons and shells to share

Confusingly, she is also the strongest
In the Battledome, she could destroy you
Even though she is the smallest!

The middle Shoyru is Electric Blue
He loves adventures the most
Always discovering something new
From the mountains to the coast!

The Faerie Shoyru is the oldest
Keeping a caring eye on everyone
A safe friend everyone can trust
A protector of everyone's health and fun!

With these tumultuous three Shoyrus
Every day is filled with happiness

Moving The Coffee Cave

It hadn’t been an easy choice, 
to move her whole shop, 
but this Shoryu had a goal, 
and she was willing to pull all the stops!

Her dream was to provide, 
the best coffee in all the land, 
so to the Catacombs she had gone,
where there was higher demand. 

In Neopia’s Art Centre, 
many artists craved a treat, 
to accompany them as they worked,
hopefully something sweet!

But then something happened,
and the Catacombs would be no more!
Where would she go? 
Would she have to close her doors?

When all seemed lost, 
a Blumaroo approached her, 
with a brilliant plan of where to go.
Yes, she would come back stronger!

Roo Island is her new home,
full of life, full of fun. 
She loves her job,
but she isn’t done!

Always coming up with new ideas, 
and flavour combinations to blow your mind, 
After all, she has to make sure,
that this coffee is the best you can find!

Shoyru’s First Flight

Flying through the skies on wings so small
The Shoyru scales the tall cliff walls
His wing beats carry him to the top
To meet young Shoyrus at the drop

Upon the cliff he finds his class
Waiting to land below on grass
Baby Shoyrus above cling
Waiting to master their growing wings

The flight master secures their ropes
To give the Babies winged hopes
Then gently gives them a push
Upon their yells, he tells them “shush!”

“You are grown enough to fly, 
Unfurl your wings and soar so high!”
He shouts to them as they fall
And watches as their wings forestall
Their descent to the ground below
And smiles as their confidence grows!

The Babies now realize their power
Flying happily for an hour
And the Shoyru teacher rejoices
To hear their excited, flying voices!

Every Neopian girl and boy-- every Neopet, shout for joy:
Today is Shoyru Day, which we are all excited for!
Whether home or at the Pound, Shoyrus cannot be kept grounded
Though they won't expound upon the point, you can be sure:

More than any ball or kite, it's their natural gift of flight
In which Shoyrus all delight and revel to no end.
Barrel-rolling, winged propulsion through the air evokes emotion
Understood by all of them, but often left unsaid.

Unparalleled, an unmatched feeling: to fly among the Weewoos, reeling
(or right through a ceiling, if you've heard of Varia's tale.)
Most at home among the clouds, a Shoyru knows no earthly bounds
Their acrobatics all astound their audience without fail.

Onlookers left all but speechless, still these Shoyrus give no speeches
Sharing how they feel, but speedily say *au revoir*!
In the boundless blue horizon: time for Kreludor to rise,
Illuminate the skies and Shoyrus flying through the stars.

In one massive congregation, Shoyrus make a mass migration
It's their celebration of the knowledge that they share:
The freedom unimpeachable, the reaching- heights- unreachable,
the with-just-words- unteachable!--
their hearts lighter than air.

The Shoyru in the Clouds

Flapping wings, a rush of air–
Looping through the sky with flair.
The Shoyru soars with not a care;
These fluffy clouds are everywhere.

The gentle Sun shines on his face,
Oh, aren’t these such happy days!
All he wants is to frolic and play–
Sit in the clouds, and laze the day away.

From cloud to cloud he flies across–
Munching and crunching like candy floss.
His eyes are sparkling with a shiny gloss;
These fuzzy cotton tufts he’ll toss.

The Cloud Shoyru is a light blue,
Blending into the sky's bright hue.
From up here he has quite the view,
He can see from Meridell to Shenkuu.

Flying right up to the highest cloud–
Of this feat he feels quite proud.
The sea of white fluff has him wowed,
“Oh, how beautiful,” he says aloud.

If you look up and really try,
You might just spot him as he flies.
Soaring, flying, way up high–
The Cloud Shoyru loves the sky!

Was this Nostalgic Pet
A Plushie Shoyru
To complete my family set.

When I saw the news
I couldn't wait to get mine
And make my Plushie Shoyru
Nostalgic with the design.

My Shoyru then changed
With a sitting up pose
And her hands on the belly
It's such a cute close.

Her pastel blue colour
And her yellow and orange seams
Make her more wonderful
Just like in my dreams.

Her big eyes stare at me
And makes me want to hug her tight
To make her happy and content
So she'll never feel any fright.

Is a dream that came true
To make my family full
