Since she is shy, this is ideal,
She is seen on only her terms.
One cannot catch her off guard,
On this, she is quite firm.

But today, she has a message,
Something special to share.
Gather round below,
To witness Faerie Draik's flair.

Happiest Draik Day to all!
She pens the words in the clouds,
Her tail makes the letters large,
To be visible to the below crowd.

She swoops down into view,
Gives onlookers a little wave,
We'll remember this day for a while,
And how bashful Faerie Draik was so brave!

The Draiks of NeoQuest II

Hatching a Draik Egg

Studying to lessen Grey fears

Pick up a new book and read,
This studious Draik knows how to stay strong 
With more knowledge nothing can go wrong!

Yiko the Draik

Yiko the Draik’s friends are stone, 
Yet he’s alive and has plenty of bones
He sits up top the castle looking out below,
Yiko gives an alert if enemy lines do grow. 

Yiko is a gargoyle within the sky,
He protects Meridell and looks out for spies.
An invasion could never come along without his sight,
He’ll swoop down with fire and give them a fright.

Yiko the Draik has many skills,
They tell stories about him within the hills.
He is a defender with honour, isn’t it so.
He’ll stay vigilant through rain and snow.

Yiko the Draik protects his lands,
He defeats the enemies with his two hands,
From the rolling green to the castle grounds,
The farm is safe too when Yiko is around.

A gargoyle’s duty is most important, indeed,
Yiko keeps away even the notorious Nightsteed.
We thank Yiko every day for keeping us secure,
He’s the best Draik in town, that’s for sure!

Draik Egg Hunt

I wake up early and pack my bag
Knowing there's no time to lollygag
At first light I begin my hunt
I shoulder my luggage and take off with a grunt

Over Meridell land in secluded areas I traverse
Searching dark spots, hoping they're not adverse
I am on the search for some beautiful Draik Eggs
Hoping the long distance can be held up by my legs

My first hidden meadow comes into view
Eggs gently light up from the sun peeking through
Primary colours glisten before me
I take no time and quickly snatch up all three

I make my way to a secluded spot in the river
Stepping in the water gave me a shiver
But the cold was worth it for the eggs I found
Ice, Pirate, and even one that had been crowned

My next stop was deep in a cave
I find a cracked egg, one better suited in a grave
Further inside I find two more
Darigan and Marble eggs buried deep in the floor

I collect my hoard and head to a rumoured nest
Excitement filling as I near the end of my quest
I feel a bit uneasy in the warm, stuffy room
Eggs resting, I wait for the hatching to resume

In a flash, the eggs begin to crack
The first Draik pops out, arching his back
One by one they all emerge from their shell
A Draik testing out her voice let out a small yell

The sight before me had tears fall from my eyes
The Draiks were ready to take for the skies
I give a wave before the Draiks head off to roam
My new friends leave to start a life of their own

Brightvale Glaziers' Draik Shopkeep

As his work-in-progress window gleams. 

His welcome illuminates the space,

With the others - beautiful if frail,

And the Draik laughs, saying, "See you again!"

The Baby Draik is so cute
With those huge red eyes
And their wings are so tiny
I wonder how they manage to fly.

In a warm and beautiful coat
With a red-yellow striped hat
The Christmas Draik is very nice
I can guarantee you that.

Another Draik present here
Is the Faerie one,
They're pretty and awesome
And loved by everyone.

That white hair on the head
That warm slippers on the feet
A little purse in the hands
Elderly Girl Draik is very sweet.

Look at those purple and pink stripes
It's Candy Draik coming along
They are simply gorgeous
I can admire them all day long.

Then there's the Toy Draik
With them, we'd love to play
But don't forget the Biscuit Draik
And also that one painted as Clay.

The Pirate Draik is also present
With a patch in their eye
And a hook in their hand
They're so cool, this you can't deny.

And there's Eventide Draik
Who looks like stars during the night
And you'll like them, I'm sure
It's like love at first sight.

Then there's Snow Draik
And the Disco and Strawberry

The Valiant Swordmaster Talek
