What’s this? What’s that? Such hullabaloo!
Let’s pad up to the window and take in all its view...
Of course! It is today we toast the jolly Blumaroo!
Their ultra bouncy tails, their cheery dispositions,
are both implacable no matter the conditions.
Their lopsided ears don’t impede their hearing
but do look rather fetching embellished with earrings.
Their pure hearts gleam in their marble-like eyes,
according them a face none could chastise!
Their super droopy noses can sniff out any trouble—
they’ll bounce right along to quell it on the double!
When not helping others, they’re surely having fun
playing games, telling jokes, dancing under the sun.
Every day’s a holiday in their native Roo Island!
Is there any doubt why they’re always smilin’?
Their love of live is easy to love, too,
and you can see it’s no ballyhoo!
Huzzah, hurray for the Blumaroo!

The Blue Blumaroo

the Blumaroo was blue
his Faerie wings stopped working
blue stuck to him like glue
his magic powers lurking

the Blumaroo withdrew.
he couldn't show his face
to others he was just blue,
the wings left no trace.

the Blumaroo was through
his Faerie friend said, as he sighed
"it's fine to be blue, Blumaroo.
we know you're Faerie inside!".

the Blumaroo knew 
his Roo friend was right
he wiped away a tear
and called it a night

the Blumaroo dreamed
his flying days would return
he woke with a jolt
"maybe it's not for wings I yearn"

the Blumaroo blew
goodbye to his fears
a better day was coming
he wiped his Blumaroo tears

the very next morning
the day was brand new
without any warning
his pink Faerie wings regrew!

his Roo friend smiled
"wings or no wings
Roo or no Roo
we all have our down days
it's okay to be Blue."

Zelroo - Dr. Sloth's Ship Designer

Out in the middle of the deep dark space
Was a Blumaroo who just wanted to race
Zelroo was known to design ships that were quick
For him, tinkering with parts just seemed to click

His latest creation the fastest in the galaxy
He raced a friend, unknowing the destined tragedy
They sped and Zelroo had a terrible crash
His life appeared before him in a blurry flash

The accident filled the Blumaroo with adrenaline
Not realizing his body felt like gelatin
Zelroo cried at his wreck in despair
Feeling helpless and hoping for repair

Dr. Sloth arrived and answered his prayer
If the Roo gave devotion, his life he would spare
Zelroo agreed and Sloth gave him a body he built
A new robot body, a woven metal and wire quilt

Mostly mechanical, he needed time to adjust
But he grew to love it, and gave Sloth his trust
Zelroo gave his devotion and life to the dictator
Ship force improved made Sloth's threat greater

All while donning his favourite cape and teeth

Remains good and wise,
With a heart of gold.

In faraway Trestin,
She raised her son,

Of battles his father won.

So, this gentle Blumaroo,
Planted the starting seed
Into her son's heart,

She kept him close,
As he grew and learned,
Till the day came
To carry his father's sword.

Wandering the streets of Neopia Central
Seeing friends chatting and strolling around
A sense of nostalgia washes over my mind
As I pass all the familiar old shops in town

Down by my side, bouncing on her sweet tail
A Plushie Blumaroo, young for her kind
Creamiel is her name, adopted from the Pound
And the memories swirl almost visible to the eye

Her namesake, you see, was and is a dear friend
Whose heart's wish was to have for her own
A Plushie Blumaroo to cherish and love
So she worked very hard to bring this pet home

And when I saw Creamiel I knew she'd be mine
And immediately paid the fee to the Neopian Pound
To represent a friendship that's spanned through the years
And celebrate kindred hearts that each other have found

With a morph and a paint, her final form was achieved
For a companion, a Petpet was chosen to gift
Honey Butter the Babaa, all golden and cream
And the two became inseparable right swift

For the rest of their lives Cream and Butter shall go
Mutually supporting the other through trials and fun
Where the journey may take them it matters not
Together they'll navigate through rain and through sun

A Midnight Gamble

Through Roo Island you warily explore.

With utmost caution you tiptoe through

A dark silhouette awaits your arrival,
He turns towards you - it’s Count von Roo!

Sweeping his cape around with flair,
His demeanour gives you quite the scare!
He challenges you to a little game
Of Deadly Dice, but do you dare?

The Count reveals a pair of dice,
Presenting them with some advice:
If you do dare to challenge but lose,
You must be willing to pay the price.

A simple roll determines your fate,
With gains or losses of levels at stake.
But if your rolls are somehow equal,
Another round resolves the stalemate.

Acknowledging the risk you gingerly throw
Your dice and it lands on one - oh no!
The Count smirks loudly as his dice shows five,
