Hints and Tips

Scary! Our second Card of the Day for the Mystery Island set is a villain that you have not seen before on Neopets. Lurking in the jungles of Mystery Island is a huge wooden totem demon, protecting some sort of "Ruined City". Who knows what it is, what it wants, or where it is currently... but if you look very carefully at its eyes you may just get a clue.

Potgatkerchi is a villain, much like Tura-Kepek, Moltenus or Eithne, but he has one of the cooler abilities, one not seen before on the Neopets TCG. He does not have statistics as such, instead he has a little * symbol. To calculate the stats of this villain you add up the corresponding stats of all the other Neopets in play that are not in his arena. With a potential six Neopets in play (possibly more), those scores could, and should get pretty high!

Playing Potgatkerchi can turn out to be a bit of a wild card. You really have no way of knowing which arena he is going to be best at. He has no other special abilities to speak of, so he is purely there to have a very high statistic and hopefully block your opponent from banking or scoring. He can prove to be good, and I am sure from time to time he will prove to be quite useless, but what he does provide is a degree of versatility not seen in other villains.
